I have put Lisa Jackson's 'Deep Freeze' on hold to start 'Saloms Lot' by Stephen King.This is a library book so must get it out of the way by its due date.Oh yea,I just hated 'Lord of The Flies' too.Even though it was written well,I just found the story line very boring and really dragged out too much.

Mole is cooking tonight.Its Spaghetti Bog from the latest BH&G's magazine.Shall be interesting as this recipe has milk in it!I have never had spag bog with milk in it before..

The other night we watched the mini series 'Day of the Triffids' and I must say it was fantastic!The scenery,the camera angles etc was brilliant.A dvd well worth watching..

I so wish I could cook a meal from random food items but I need to go by a recipe here.I put myself in the good category but I do have failures too.Im not a good baker at all though.For me I have found having a man who appreciates what I cook and isnt afraid to compliment me on it when he loves it or dislikes it,has given me a big confidence boost in my cooking.Some people I think do have a talent for it too.

Hi Brian & welcome. As Corina has said this forum is great!Since joining I have found books to read that I would never have tried before.Its taken me away from my comfort zone so to speak...Yay!

We just had some chicken rissoles wrapped in a slice of proscuitto with a side of vegetables and a packet meal of curry chicken pasta.

Trying my hardest here to get through 'Lord Of The Flies' by William Golding.Am finding it really drags on a bit.. Think I am coming up to the section where they gang up on each other etc,so hopefully it gets a little more exciting for me to read.

So couldnt be bothered cooking a decent meal tonight for the 2 of us,so instead made a simple omelette with some toast..

I really loved this film & am waiting to get the book from my library.

My son has never been a big reader only when he is told too at school.. Though atm he is reading a Sookie Stackhouse book.

I have quite a few oversized paperclips which have a little rubber animal head on the top. I just clip it over the page to hold my place.

I cant remember throwing any away but I may have done in the past.I tend to pass a lot of my books on to other people or give them to the op-shops.I have also given some to the library here too. Somebody here though throws their books out cos OH & I found a huge plastic bag full of books at our local tip.Lots that I will be getting stuck into...
