  1. Im pretty good thanks Weave.. My first job was at 15 straight out of hi-school as a sewing machinist for a sportswear manufacturer.I had a few other sewing jobs after that too.I HATED it after awhile as it was so boring doing the same things over and over again..

  3. My views exactly.In fact I picked this up and didnt want to put it down hence why I finished it within a day.. Will try a few more of her books I think.
  4. I am supposed to be cutting back on my magazines here but I cant seem to do it and they seem to call out my name whenever they come out.. My choice of magazines are...delicious,AusGoodFood,UKGoodFood,Donna Hay & Good Taste...all food/cooking mags.
  5. I have only just finished 'The Green Mile'by Stephen King which I loved immensly.Im soon going to start on 'Things I Want My Daughters To Know' by Elizabeth Noble. Gee...this forum is doing me the world of good with my reading..

I tend to always read laying back on my lounge with some music playing on the tv in the background.At night its in bed before I go to sleep.Depending also on the weather outside I also love to read my book on my swing seat under my wrought iron gazebo with the sounds of a water fountain trickling behind me.
  7. Seeing as the reviews went both ways here made me want to read this book.I must admit I didnt mind it at all but I too thought the part where Suzie goes into Ruth's body just to have sex was a little daft,imo.Also I was quite disappointed in the ending too..

We have just had a meal to die for here called Upside Down Shepherd's Pie.Its definitely going to be a keeper in this household.My extra additions to it were a layer of cooked,sliced mushrooms & shredded english spinach.Oh,and instead of popping it all into a casserole dish as specified I used a springform cake pan.

  13. Um lets see I would buy the little dude on the bicycle in the SAW movies as well as the head trap. AND a whole outfit that Eric has worn in True Blood(its not a movie I know, but..)

  15. Oh fantastic Lynn,Being a female I have always felt like the odd one out cos I enjoy my horror.Have you ever seen any of Ulli Lommel's movies he directed?If not,DONT watch them!They are trash!OH & I watched about 2 of them and turned them both of nearly half way through...

  20. OH & I watched Coffin Rock,an Australian movie tonight & well it was dumb in our opinions.Says it was a horror but it was very,very mild to what we are used to watching.Only reason we kept on watching it was cos we were hoping it was going to get a bit more umm,HORRible..
