  1. Ain't Like You - Blood for Blood Pretty hardcore.
  2. Zombieland. More than deserving of a looking into, if only for the deliciously psychotic Woody Harrelson. I love that man.
  3. I can relate to that. Especially the geek part. You are most welcome good sir!
  4. Well, nothing can beat a late 19th century ghost story, so why don't you try 'The Turn of the Screw', by Henry James? The film adaptation, The Innocents (1961) by Jack Clayton is also stellar. One of the best ghost films ever made. Just saying..
  5. Zulu. Great, old skool British filmmaking.
  6. With all the Burton mania going on, I thought it was fitting to give 'Sleepy Hollow' a rewatch.
  7. Trust me, it only appears that way. I'm really not a veteran when it comes to books. I've been all sorts of busy lately, so no, I haven't. Will let you know when I do though. P.S. You must also see the film 'In Cold Blood' (1967) when you have the chance. It is stellar. And might I suggest 'From Hell', a titan in the graphic novel medium by genius Alan Moore? Offers lots of interesting theories and insights in the Jack the Ripper murders. And it's scary as hell to boot.
  8. I make it a habit of reading two books at the same time. One novel and one comic/manga. Works best that way.
  9. It's certainly up there. Preceded only by Godfather, Part II and Once Upon a Time in America.
  10. The Last House on the Left (2009). Left me rather underwhelmed.
  11. May you enrich the forum with some wonderful poetry Wendy. Welcome!
  12. Haven't had one single bad experience ordering from them. Pretty awesome site.
  13. I gave that one to my gf some time ago. Gorgeous edition, and well worth the investment. You can get it for 20 euros on Book Depository.
  14. Welcome to the forum Angie. No, you're not sick at all. The serial killer is a subject the human race has always shown quite a lot of interest for. You're definitely not alone in this. Why do you think films like Se7en, Silence of the Lambs, or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre were such succesful works? Why there's been written so many books about Jack the Ripper, Ed Gein, or Richard Ramirez? It's in our blood. That said, you should absolutely check out Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. Unforgettable. Classic. Let me know what you thought of it.
  15. It's our lot in life. Welcome to the forum, Rune. Like the name.
