I am well thanx fer askin
I hope you do like the Sookie books, if you're into supernaturals in general then I think you will enjoy them. They are quick reads and pretty addictive and a lot more grown up than something like Twilight. Have you seen the TV version True Blood? It's a pretty good adaptation of the books, but as per usual, the books are better.
Enjoy the rest of your lunch!
You won't believe this but after having chatted with Charm I logged onto the Book People web site and yes there were the books for an amazing

although this is a rebus thread i would like to mention the roy grace detective series created by Peter James who as a one time horror writer decided to delve into crime and what a great series they are and what a great detective he created.

The big change in the uk happened some 15 years ago (was it really that long ago) and all of a sudden books were being reduced in price...the competition really hotted up when supermarkets started to sell, and of course with their buying power books were soon being sold at half the publishers price.......great for the buyer maybe not so good for the author

Actually one book overlooked by Stephen King is Thinner writing as Richard Bachman....an easy to read little horror about a meat pie, gypsy curse....and a good weight loss diet

I've heard bad things about Pig Island too so I've never bought it.
I did like Birdman and The Treatment by her though. The Treatment was quite uncomfortable to read in some places.
I gave up on Tokyo, but I might try and read it again.
i also gave up on Tokyo i felt it ran out of steam....but Pig Island although an odd book did stay with me for some time.....bizarre is prob a good word to describe it
