  1. The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke. I don't see what all the fuss was about, it is quite pants.
  2. Kurt Cobain - I'm a huge fan John Lennon - The man was a genius Spike Milligan - For the same reason as John Lennon Sherlock Holmes - I know he is a fictional character but there is just as much a chance of him turning up as the other three
  3. Suppose that means another flippin' Tom Hanks film.
  4. Just finished this yesterday unfortunatley, i wanted it to go on and on. Glad to hear he is writing another installment.

    Non Fiction

I read a fair bit of non fiction, i would say that for every 3 or 4 works of fiction i read i read 1 non fiction book
  6. 800 in one day! Anyone want to help me rob a bank?
  7. No doubt we will be 'treated' to the life stories of a bunch of celebs soon, it is getting close to Christmas and they will want them in the shops to give people plently of time to add them to their letters to Santa.
  8. So true. I gave up lending to people other than my mother and sister and one friend after asking a friend of my brothers when he would be returning the 6 books he borrowed on WW2 for his coursework. His reply? "My little sister drew on them with felt tip so i chucked them out." No sorry or nothing. Bah!
  9. I find it to be like a bad film, it bores you and you laugh at how bad it is but you have to stick with it to see how it ends.
  10. I keep almost all my books. I have the luxury of quite a big spare room so space has never been a problem. The only time i give books away is when my sister is looking for items for school jumble sales or one of her charity car boots, then i fill a box with books i didn't enjoy or ones that i know i won't read again.
  11. What's The Story (morning glory) - Oasis
  12. Coming to the end of Moab is my Washpot, i don't want it to end. Heading to the bookshop after dinner to stock up.

    Hey

Sure. I recently worked in sales for a newspaper and magazine disributor, had been there since i left school at 17. Decided that now was the time to leave (middle of a recession, great timing eh?) and start to study child care and social work, something i always wanted to do. Mad about football, Manchester United (of course, isn't everyone from north or south of Ireland), comedy is really the only thing that interests me on television and the rest of the time i can be found either in the pub or in a book. My bookshelf contains quite a mixture as i don't seem to stick to one kind of genre. The authors i tend to read most though are James Patterson, John Grisham, Andy McNab, Arthur Conan Doyle, P G Wodehouse and Charkes Dickens. Also, probably once a month, i read my favourite book, Animal Farm by George Orwell. I don't know where the love affair with the book started but i have bought many copies after giving copies away, leaving copies on buses, trains etc and even once dropping a copy in the toilet.
  14. Talk Of The Town by Ardal O'Hanlan (yes him from Father Ted)
