  1. Soda Pop flavored Jelly Bellys
  2. Haven't read anything yet today (and probably won't tonight ) but I did buy a book of the greatest classic poems ever written.
  3. Happy Halloween! *runs off to start playing tricks*

  4. Happy birthday! Hope you have a great one :) xx

  5. Welcome :) Glad to have another friendly face on here! :D

  6. I'm doing alright. :) Nice to see you! How have you been doing lately?

  7. Ah! I think I've just discovered a proper way to double check that we've got the actual 'Rory List'. Out of boredom I was flipping through the little 'Your Guide to Gilmore-isms' that comes with each season on DVD. Inside is a little guide explaining all pop culture refrences (aka, all the books mentioned) and where they appeared in the series. I only own seasons 1-3 and 8, but later I'm going to go through all the books and start compiling my own list. Catcher in the Rye it is! Can't wait to start
  8. I watched Elizabeth yesterday afternoon and am going to watch Sex and the City 2 once it finishes downloading.
  9. Your friends and family are very lucky to have you (we are too!! ) There is something so charming about bee farms. There is nothing better than fresh honey! Aww, that's so sweet, Chrissy
  10. Thanks All of the Halloween ones are so cute!
  11. Happy birthday, Maureen! xx

  12. Another excellent book for this time of year is the Crucible. It was one of my favorites that we read in school .
  13. 4 Seasons of Lonliness- Boyz II Men
  14. I am forbidding myself to buy any more books until I've read at least 5 of the ones I already own... or until they increase our employee discount in the bookstore an extra 10% later next month Read some more in The Mermaid's Mirror and am still loving it. Hopefully I'll finish it tomorrow or Friday.
  15. Oh gosh... there is something utterly terrifying about garden gnomes in general! I'd forgotten about that one! It would be cool to get a book full of short ghost stories or something spooky like that, too.
  16. 1. I tend to name my possessions. (Car is Leon, computer is Walter, book light is Draco) 2. I can't sleep without a pillow between my legs. 3. Lady bugs freak me out and I'm convinced they bite and are poisonous (I *know* they really aren't... but one could be an imposter... you never know...) 4. My body is super double jointed. I can pop everything from my toes to my hips and shoulders out of place. 5. I'm thinking about getting another tattoo.
  17. They're children's books, but Halloween always makes me think of R.L. Stein's Goosebumps series. May need to get one tonight (the Egyptian Mummy one was my favorite as a kid!) and read it!
  18. I'm starting to develop a little crush on Tim Curry. After watching Rocky Horror a couple times now, he's really growing on me!
  19. It's been a bit quiet in here the last couple months. I was going to see if anyone would be up for reading a 'Rory' book in November with me and if so, any suggestions? I was thinking of maybe doing Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, The Crucible by Arthur Miller or The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Lately I've been thinking about some of the old books we read in school and how they were good, but rushed. Those are all three ones I'd like to go back and reread to try and savour them rather than get through them for a grade. Any other suggestions are most welcome!
  20. Happy birthday, Pixie! Hope you have a great day! :)

  21. Hey Kylie. Feels like it's been a while since we've had the chance to chat. How are you doing these days?
