I started reading If I Should Die Before I Wake by Han Nolan and am absolutely blown away so far. Read 3 chapters today and can't wait to finish this one. Its one of those books where the subjet matter is so sensitive that you feel almost guilty reading.

Time to start planning for another year of literary wonder! I don't have much to start off with at the moment, but just wanted to create a new thread for 2011 so that once I'm finished compiling my TBR pile and my goals for the next year I can just come here and start setting things up One thing is for sure, I have a MASSIVE TBR pile! Since I've started work at the bookstore it seems like I bring home at least 2-3 more books a week. One of my co-workers told me 'You know you can come to work every day and visit them, right?' It's just not the same. Its like going to a pet rescue center and seeing all those orphans needing a new home and some one on one TLC. (Good thing I don't work in a pet rescue center!) Below I'll be posting my TBR pile and my wishlist once they're finished.

Same here. I think it's her voice. Its very smooth and sensual. Lately people have been teasing me about having a crush on Gordon Ramsey. Sorry, but I'd totally go there. I also have another 'chef' crush on Alton Brown. He's so nerd sexy!

I've been reading a compilation book called Tales of Love and Death. The story I'm on right now is by Neil Gaiman and its the first of his work I've ever read. Might need to look into some of his books after this.

I got a wonderful surprise at work tonight. They had a huge rack of books they are getting rid of and let us pick over them first. Believe it or not, they are not going back to the publishers or to charity, they are planning on THROWING THEM AWAY! I 'adpoted' 15 new ones plus an advanced reader's copy of Cecelia Ahern's new book The Book of Tomorrow which I plan to start this evening. All in all, a very good day for my personal library.
