    Gaelic is such a beautiful lyrical language. I've tried studying it but the pronunciation is so difficult that I feel like I botch the words up too much. lol. Football always makes me think of that movie Robinhood: Men in Tights. "We're men, We're men in tights."

    Yeah, crazy how fast this last year passed us by, isn't it? Don't worry... I have grown up watching football with my family who are all huge fans and going to the games in HS and I still don't totally get it.

    That's true. We have American football going this time of year. The Super Bowl is coming up in a few weeks!

    Eh, I don't really mind it. Unfortunately my dad and stepmom randomly showed up in town today while I was working and I didn't get to see them. Sounds like a pretty good day you had there! Manchester playing tonight?

    Wow, 13?! You must be really into the thriller/horror genra. I've only recently gotten into it myself and am loving it. I've never heard of Susan Cooper before, I'll have to check her out. As for LOTR, I tried to read them but just couldn't. They are my dad's favorite books so I grew up with him mentioning them frequently. Eventually I'll probably try them again.

    Read a few more pages in The Shining today. I am really starting to connect with little Danny's character. All of King's characters are so well rounded and have such a real feeling about them. It makes me feel sorry that I haven't read his work sooner. I hope to finish at least two more chapters today.
