I'm excited to hear your final review when you finish this one The movie is one of my favorites and I've debated whether or not to read the book for some time (but decided not to because I love the movie so much and don't want to stain that love if the book doesn't match up.)
Tonight I'm going to make a little stop at Barnes and Noble to pick up a new copy of Alfred Lord Tennyson's poetry. I'd gotten into a habit of reading a poem or two before bed and would like to resume that routine as his work really touches and comforts me.
I hope to read another 2 chapters of Gone with the Wind today.
Do you happen to know which site it was on? When the WB over here became the CW they didn't just change their website, they created a whole new one. I don't have time to check right now but if it isn't on one of the sites, it may be on the other.
*Is very ashamed she hasn't updated her reading list in a LONG time*
I will need to work on modifying my list this weekend as quite a few books are being taken off due to no longer being avaliable.
One of these books is unfortunately The Shining. I was closing in on the final quarter of the book. Unfortunately that book was one of the most damaged in my recent flood, I picked it up and the whole cover just fell off.
Right now I am working on Gone with the Wind as part of the Rory Gilmore challenge. Scarlet is quickly becoming one of my favorite literary heroines of all time and I'm not even very far in! The book itself is so well written that I feel as if I am right there in Georgia.
