  1. 6 inches! Ouch! Good thing you didn't get caught in it.

I've had better days. Right now I'm thinking of pouring myself a Jack and Coke and it is only 11:30 am. Might just bury my head in the sand... er... a book instead for a few hours.

  2. F*** the World- ICP
  3. Sounds perfect! I wonder if there are any books that the story is based off of. *goes off to investigate*
  4. His movies are always great! (Jackson is an added bonus ) Ugh! I can't wait until this summer. Hopefully they won't release close to Eclipse.
  5. The Last Airbender directed by M. Night Shyamalan Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film The Last Airbender is the opening chapter in Aang's struggle to survive. 11. I snapped this with my camera phone on the way to work yesterday morning. It was taken on top of the hill I drive every day to work that overlooks the east side of Sioux Falls. The sun peeking up over the clouds was just so beautiful that I had to pull over and capture it.
  12. Just watch their faces. They are so intense! I can't help it, but they seriously look like they are trying to will the thingy (sorry, no idea what it is called) to move with their minds. I keep waiting for one of the sweepers to trip over an already launched thingy.
  13. Its nice to solve the mystery!
  14. Ooh! Its on?!?!?! *Rummages around for remote* Must...watch...curling...
  15. *Ponders the mysteries of curling* My theory is that it is just a drunken frat game that somehow caught on. That or the people are telepathic and trying to move the big round handle thingy with their minds.
  16. Is Curling on again? I cannot figure out what is going on with that one! Why do they sweep? What is their goal? *Sigh*
  17. I bought 3 new books Friday night: Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger, and The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. I've read both Flowers for Algernon and The Lovely Bones before but haven't had a chance to read Catcher in the Rye before. I'll try and wait until I finish Gone with the Wind but FfA is really calling my name!

  19. You are most welcome here Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated! I just stepped on my scale and was pleasently surprised to discover that I have lost the wait I gained plus an additional pound. I'm slowly starting to work out again, which feels great. I'd love if if you would post that list.

  23. What is a toastie? For a grilled cheese we just butter both sides of the bread, put a piece of cheese in the middle and put it in a saute pan and brown both sides until the cheese is melted and the bread is nice and crispy.
