I've always wondered about scrapbooking. I know you make things look pretty etc, but I guess I don't really get the point of it, what do you actually use it for? I've seen classes for it in my local colleges too, is it just another type of photo album but with more creativity?

I can't make up my mind whether to make sausage and bean casserole again, or fish pie, I want both, haha!
-
I'm still reading Shake! I feel like I've been reading it for ages, but I guess that's because I got through Wuthering Heights so quickly, I am really enjoying it though, which is why I'm a bit surprised about how long it's taking me.

Ahh now I fancy chicken curry too, but don't have any curry paste, and not sure I have all of the spices needed to make one, other than that, no idea what i'm having, I can't make up my mind.

Yeah I got 17 chapters in and gave up! It's obviously a "marmite" book!

When I read WH my mind always stumbled over that word for a few split seconds
Hehe me too! I read it out in work, everyone had a little giggle!

It's definately worth it. It took me a while to get through but I did really enjoy it.

Yeah I'm pretty much the same, I always use a bookmark, or something that stops me from ruining the pages, however my spines to crease, which annoys me but I don't know how to stop it.
I can't say I've ever seen magnetic bookmarks, sounds stupid, but how do they work?

Um they actually didn't show that part! That was pretty much where it started, in the book, this is the second part, and it's Heathcliff who asks for his son to be sent there, he'd spent the night at Thrushcross Grange which is how Catherine met him.

No it was sponsored by Aviva, I'm sad enough to remember

I'm starting to get into Shake! It's quite funny, and isn't really proper chick lit. I think it's going to be a good buy in the end!
-
Well it can't be much worse! You should definately be glad you didn't watch it, they added bits to it that weren't in the book, and the ending was not how it should have been, I won't say anymore since there are people who haven't seen/read it!

One word...disappointed! I was so looking forward to that and feel so let down by it.

In Wuthering Heights, the use of peevish/peevishness and countenance drove me absolutely nuts!

Going to make chicken curry, rice and sauteed potatoes.

Thanks.
I let my daughter (12) stay up and watch part 1 (she didn't wake up until 10am today) so I guess I'll be doing the same tonight! She's going to be knackered tomorrow!
Aww bless her! Tonight does look a bit better than last nights, but I guess that's because they haven't shown the best parts of the story yet.
I really don't understand why they started it where they did either, makes no sense at all!

Interesting comments about the film there! I watched the film a few weeks back and started crying half an hour in and didn't stop until well after the end. After watching the film, I bought the book (I usually do it the other way around) so after reading what everyone has written here, I'll probably not actually be able to read it through constant blurry eyes

No I don't like Andrew Lincoln in it either. I feel they should have used someone a bit more timid and meek?
-
The next part is on tomorrow night at the same time.

I haven't seen that, is that the black and white one? My mum said I should watch it. I was a little disappointed in it, even though Tom Hardy makes a rather yummy Heathcliff, they seem to have missed out massive chunks of the story, and they're not showing it in the correct order. I don't understand why they can't just stick to the actual story when they do these things! Maybe the fact that I've literally just finished reading it for the first time is making me a bit more picky about the visual version.

It seems a bit jumpy at the moment, whether you've read the book or not. That's my opinion anyway.

I'm an absent-minded earl who is upset by the disappearance of his pig.
Sorry that made me giggle!
I'm a very harrassed servant try to get my charge back down to Thrushcross Grange away from Wuthering Heights.

Normally I'm exactly the same, but for some reason I seem to be drawn to Wuthering Heights, and I have to say, I'm really enjoying the book even though it's nothing like what I was expecting.
Me, me and oh, me!
