    Correct Janet. Not my favourite bean, unless its in Sobronade. I often make Beans and Pasta using Berlotti beans - yummy.

    It also depends which edition you read as well, the Brod or the critical edition. the ctitical edition is based on Kafkas's manuscript, whereas Brod is his editor's version with emendments. I prefer the critical editions.

    The point you made about gregor being just like anybody else is the point Kafka is making. This after the Trial is a my favourite work of his.
