I can see him getting caught when Carla comes back.

 

 

 

I noticed on the front cover of a magazine while at the supermarket that she is coming back.. and aparently going to try and steal baby Liam. I know nothing more than that as I have not watch Corrie in years and I get my only information when I am reading magazines at the Doctor's surgery or my Mum feels the need to tell me some soap gossip.

 

 

Emmerdale is the only one that sometimes I do watch it. I agree it should win the best soap award.

Well after reading this post, I've just ordered The Bone Collector for my Dad as it's his birthday in a week and I was a bit stumped as to what to get him. I've seen the film and really enjoyed it, not sure if he's seen it though but this genre is his thing, I hope he enjoys it, would mean I can buy the rest of the series for the next few christmasses and birthdays hehe!

 

I was the same. I am waiting for my reservation from the library to arrive. It sounded right up my street after reading all the posts.

oh yeah the engagement!, good news! I thought Carl would jump and as much as he annoyed me, I think he will end up with Chas but I think he has changed a lot and Chas sees that, so who knows

 

In a good way or a bad way?? I think hiding a secret that you are a double murder and had a part to play in your brother's death may take it's toll

 

Whatis it with Emmerdale and it's murders never getting caught. Carl hasn't got caught. Eric Pollard killed his wife years ago and never got caught and did that Australian woman (the one that owned the B&B ) did she get found out about killing/ self defense of her fiance???

It was such an intense episode last night, great acting all round, Carl really annoyed me though with his constant smirking!, I was thinking, 'take this situation seriously!!!!'

I think Chas is awesome. But however much I wanted to give Carl a good talking to I still want them to be together.

 

I thought that the twist was going to be that Scarlett was going to over hear the conversation about Carl Killing his Dad. She would be so upset that she was going to go to the police and tell them and he would get arrested etc etc.

 

Did anyone else think that maybe Carl was going to jump in the end? The way he was on the roof on his own:?

 

 

 

I agree with you Gyre the acting was amazing especially the person who plays Lexi

It's all backwards. My BF gets all offended and doesn't see the point in it. There's me sitting there saying, "Oh, stop being such a prude!".

 

Saying that, we're halfway through the second season now and I think he's getting used to it. Though he still isn't keen when we get a flash of [enter gorgeous male here]'s bum!

See that bit in the soap where they stairs they had a sign on wall and looks like they had a chain but they never had that across it.

 

 

How come when the others went to find her no staff was there.

 

I missed that bit I only started watching when

Lexi was already on the roof with the baby and the rest of them were trying to get her to come down.

Yeah. Nicola knows that Carl doesn't want kids (and doesn't really want to be married to Lexie) so she told him to be honest with Lexie about the kids issue. He finally did the right thing and was straight with her, so Lexie was very upset.

 

Nicola was comforting Lexie and let it slip that she had told Carl to be honest, so Lexie blamed Nicola! They argued, Lexie went storming off upstairs and Nicola followed her. I'm not too sure whether Lexie gave Nicola a little push or not (I watched it, but it all happened so quickly!) and Nicola slipped and fell downstairs. Carl has been really nasty with Lexie since then, even though Nicola has forgiven her!

 

Speaking of which, Carl was horrible to Lexie again tonight when they went to visit the new baby. Lexie wanted to hold her, but Carl made her go off to buy the coffees! And Lexie let him tell her what to do! I wish she'd have stood up for herself and told him she was going to hold her. She is such a doormat.

 

I thought the girl who plays Nicola did a brilliant job acting out the delivery last night. I loved the evil looks she kept giving Jimmy! But it wasn't over the top, it was a great performance.

 

Can't work out what Natasha's game is with Faye.

I don't watch the soaps but I had been keeping an eye on the Carl and Lexi story and how it develops. I have just watched tonight episode.

I think Murray could win. With Nadal seeming to be a little tentative with the knee injury and maybe (hopefully) Fed still with his mind on the twins, Murray could sneek in there and grab it. I think that is more me hoping but I don't think there is a better chance for Murray.

I think you have loads of potential catwoman, it could go anywhere, a 'who killed Faye' storyline would be great, all eyes on Natasha maybe?, or someone totally unexpected!, I can see Faye hooking up with Cain (I can't stand Cain, don't flame me anyone ).

 

I like the new family, I think their name is Barton, they seem quite down to earth but as Mia mentioned, its soapland, so anything could happen, I must say though for such a small village, there is always enough jobs for everyone and enough people for everyone to have an affair with!

It would not surprise me either catwoman, you know with Faye, she is such a pointless character you know? I get the whole idea behind the storyline, but how far will they take it? it will basically result in Nathan going to sort out Ryan, and Ryan hopefully giving Nathan a kick!

 

 

I am thinking Nathan bashing sounds a good idea. I think the storyline is going to be the most obvious and the snobby girl, whats her name? Oh yeah Masie. She will have a fling with Ryan. The parents find out and it all goes Soap land War. I am hoping a different spin. Maybe a Who killed Faye like with Daddy King. I watched the show at the time purely because I was doing the online Emmerdale game to catch who dunnit. I would love if they did that again!!!

 

There would be loads of suspects if it all came out. I think we could be soap writers ourselves, apart from the fact I can't spell

Hi Catwoman, I think the accident was the car going through the home farm shop. It was lovely seeing Jimmy and Nicola so pleased, for once Nicola was happy. Nathan as usual, utter douchebag! complaining about Nicola going into labour he grinds my gears.

Just watched Emmerdale as I heard it was the day of the

birth of the baby. Awe!!!!!!! I am so happy for Jimmy

. It was such a good episode. I did not understand some of the plot, for example I knew nothing about

an accident

, but I might start watching it again. It was fantastic. I could not believe so many emotions came out of me because of a soap.

I find it awkward too Catwoman, you know they are not right for each other, which is a shame because Paddy is so devoted to Chas but you can't help thinking that the minute that Carl is away from Lexie, they will resume their relationship, I could be wrong of course

 

 

I agree with you I think it will be a Christmas time special or something like that. More than likely, they decide to give it ago and lexi finds out she is pregnant or something, in typical soap fashion.

 

I don't like Carl but I do think that Chas really do love each other so much, that I think deep down I hope do get back together, and also I still don't like Lexi, even though the last few months have been tough and horrible for her.

I apologize for the double post, but my last one was a couple of days ago, so I wanted to post a new one so Catwoman hopefully sees it. Not sure if you're already moved to the US or not, but I'm in Hong Kong and they even have this book in our libraries here -- There are LOTS of English books I can't get from the libraries here, so chances are if it's here, it's in most places. Just wanted to pass it along that you can probably get your hands on it really easily, ESPECIALLY if you're in the USA already.

Nathan and his view of his employees is awful............there is sure to be a peasents revolt and a kick up his lordly rear!

 

Most of my TV is if my mother comes round for tea. So i don't know all the characters but that Nathan is HORRIBLE!!! How rude is he?!

 

The one thing i don't like is the Chas and Paddy relationship it seems so awkward to me and just not right. What do you guys think?

Yep I walked out of one of the saw movies. it was either 2 or 3. It was an anniversary night out but it was so bad we just had to leave and go down the pub instead.

 

Other than that no. I have often been tempted but always decided against it. I have fell asleep through a few though.
