  1. The only place I can think of is the airports. I bought Breaking dawn before Xmas at Heathrow airport paperback edition. So I am hoping I can get the paperback version myself even though I am reading the hardback edition at present.
  2. Oh sorry the announcer.
  3. The man is a legend and for me makes BB. Oh and not to worry about telling me, it has not spoiled it for me, I a still watching it even though I know who goes out the following day.
  4. I don't think I have seen that episode yet. I have just been watching Come Dine with me, and it had a little talk over at the end saying that all the CBB housemates will be shackled together in tonight's episode. That should be good!!! As for Dane, I agree I have warmed to him, one of my favs.
  5. I agree, this has been an hillarious show this year. I don't tend to watch it as I normally get really bored, but the tasks have been great, I find the mixture of people great, and in general I LOVE IT. I am still catching up as I am normally working at the time it is on, but I have finally watched the episode where I thought that was great!
  6. That doesn't sound sad at all. I would like nothing better than to be with my Other Half and watch some episodes of the shield. He doesn't eat curry (Bloody Americans) and neither of us has ever watched Buffy. But Dude I envy you so much! Talking about OHs I am just trying to book my flight to the states to see him and do some work over there. I am starting to get flustered already

  7. Awe, well I am glad you are smiling.

Any plans for the night mate?

  8. Just wanted to give my Big Mac a Big Hug.

    Hope you a smiling.

    CW.

  9. Does she really? Wow that is interesting, how something that you have born and in many ways brought up, totally manifests into something else. Thanks for that info Coffin Nail. As for the Fever of the Bone, I have just finished it, that must be quite hard a book for you as I found it was like a follow on to the last book. Was a good book, but felt it was not up there with her bests. I personally as I am a read them in order freak, is to start them form the beginning, there are a few where there is no need. But I would say that the last one (Fever of the bone) would need to be read after Beneath the Bleeding. If you read them in order I find that you get a more rounded and better perspective of the two main characters which are very complex. Two of my best characters in any book, by any author.
  10. Finished Val McDermid's Fever of the Bone. It kept me entertained, like all of her books do, but for me, it was not a s good as normal. Will write my review tomorrow. After watching the results of Dancing On Ice I am going to start the final installment of the Millenium trilogy; The Girl who kicked the Hornets' Nest.
  11. Happy Birthday and I hope you have a great day mate!

  12. Whoooo hooooo, my mojo has come back, I read 200 pages last night and I only have 100 to go! The book is getting a lot better now, and I really don't want to put it down. God damn housework! I will most certainly finish it tonight, I may even finish it when I take the kids down the park, I think I do more reading on that park bench than anywhere else. Hopefully I will be able to start, The Girl who kicked the Hornests' nest. I seriously can't wait and I have bumped it up my pile. I am so utterly excited.
  13. I have the first (only?) three books of the trilogy on my TBR pile, I got them at the charity shop and they looked really good. Look forward to reading them now.
  14. Ok so I forced myself to read last night, as the book has to go back to the library on Tuesday, and I read 100 pages. It's starting to look really good now. I also went down to my kids school book fair and came back with; *The Queen's fool by Philippa Gregory. I have notread any of her books but read reviews on here. It is a hardback with the most beautiful cover and for 50p I had to get it. *A manual of Graphology *Uriel's machine - the ancient origins of science by Christopher Knight. * Self Defense by Jonathan Kellerman
  15. Catching up with CBB. I am on Monday's episode.
  16. Happy Birthday!

  17. The Vagners are mentioned and one still pops up every now and then, but really it is mainly about Lisabeth, for me better than the first, I have the third one waiting for me after I finish the book I am reading. My friends sister lent me this book and by the blurb looks awesome, she says it was her favourite book of the year! With you on that, I have NO mojo, it has complete dissapeared, I am reading Val Mc Dermid and it is not the book, as the book seems good, just not in the mood for anything at the moment.
  18. I thought it was quite a good book, I enjoyed it and was a quick read. A great book for YAs.
  19. Only read 75 pages over the weekend. I have been so busy I have just not had the time, and I don't think that I am going to have time tonight either . I am determined to get some reading done tomorrow night. @Kylie - How are you liking the Girl with the Dragon?
  20. thank you for your kind words Genevieve.

I agree, nothing better than reading a cafe with a good book, my idea of bliss.

Thank you again, it means a lot.

    CW.
