  1. I love Eurovision!!! I have been looking at some of the other entries and wow I think its going to be a magic show, with the odd euro silly song thrown in. Now will the uk stand a chance, well as they say about the lottery you have to be in it to win it. I feel this year we have a great song and even if she does not do well (which I doubt), I dont think we have seen the last of her! New voting this year, we shall have to see how it goes, same with Graham Norton...............I will so miss Wogans comments .............do you think he will be watching? I am not going to choose a winner but they should have a prize for the sets and costumes too! Now bring it on Europe, I have my peanuts and a bottle of wine ready!
  2. I don't know a great deal about the free masons but have been to a couple of do's at the lodges........and very nice they were too. No doubt if it is about something you don't know much about it makes it all the more appealing. There is a part of the masons for ladies but I can't remember its name.
  3. My hubby got two books the same one christmas, and one went back to the book shop for an exchange........but the books were mixed up and the unsigned one I had given him stayed at home and the signed one went to the shop. He had not even realised it was a signed one until the person that bought it for him mentioned it a few months later!
  4. I have just closed the back cover on James Herbert's Nobody True, James has knocked me for six again, might have to revisit this book one day........has anyone else read it?
  5. I have read all Dan Brown's books, I really loved Angels and Demons (will the film be good?) I am so excited that another book is coming out later this year, can we pre-order yet lol.............
  6. Have any of you re read the books of your youth.............I have read the three books I had to inwardly digest for my exams at high school. I was a typical 16 year old and to be honest did not read any of them properly, in fact one book was revised using a record player.......seemed like a good idea at the time. But I have read them all now and I have to say appreciated them all much more the second time around and with a little bit more life experience. To Kill a Mockingbird Of Mice and Men War of the Worlds. I did pass my exams but missed out on these books for a long time!
  7. Yeah I like the idea of the Dingles winning the lottery lol the whole clan could move in and the pigs! Or how about Val & Eric?

  10. Yes I'm reading the last book of the Dark Tower series, I have to get to the end its a bit like a road race, you know where you are going but your not sure what state you will be in when you get there! Yes he is more macabre, just the thing for the morning train ride to work. I am leaning more towards Koontz and Herbert at the moment with my reading. But I have been known to grin through a nice dark thriller too never ever ever ever been seen with a mills and boone
  11. ops, just checking your proof reading skills! Dean is ok now, he was having an off day lol. Six Cats, your curiosity saved by the cats!

    Hello to you too!

  12. My thoughts.............well I have to agree, I have tried honest, I have, but the 'new' family are just not growing on me. I almost thought we were going to have a story line with the woman that keeps turning up....but I'm bored with her now too. But fear not dale watchers there are some cracking stories coming along so all is not lost! BUT the big question is if the wildes were not living in the 'big' house who would you move into there and why?
  13. A friend of mine got me hooked, she also has all the books - yes all lol. She pointed me in the direction of Mr Murder and from there i have been reading the odd one here and there, I have not long since finished the door to december and have a couple in the cupboard to read. I have loved everyone I have read, and one day I hope to have read them all............yes alllllll..............
