  1. I actually thought the movie was okay (minus the ending, of course, that was just BAAAAAAAAAAAAD) I thought they got the setting right, Capricorn's village was awesome, but the actual castle wasn't really. And I thought Paul Bettany was AWESOME for dustfinger, only with different hair. I didn't really like Farrid that much. He was out of character, he wasn't meant to be "funny". Don't get me started with the ending, btw. It. is. so. BAD. Seriously.
  2. I'm a Lost freak! I'm starting to lose interest though. It's getting...weirder and weirder each season.

It used to be like, they were actually LOST in the island, and now it's like, some of them have GONE from the island...and then came back...and then went back to the real world again so I'm like, you're not really LOST are you.

What about Heroes, do you like it?

  3. It's funny I actually LIKED the Jacob part. The one where it's from
  4. lol, your BROTHER watches it? Baha. I did not expect that. Yeah, my mother LOOOOVES Bold and the Beautiful, for some reason. I'm like, wth is so good about it?!

It seems the Europeans are the best players, yeah. MOST players on the top 10 right now are Europeans, aren't they?... I think.. Actually, I have no idea. Yes, it starts on the 24th, yeah. And isn't Paris like... some sort of exhibition or something? I went to the site and it says it's only going for two days anyway, and that Fed, Rafa, Monfils and other people are attending. Not sure though. Oh well. LOL Dirt stuff. I remember we had them back in the Philippines, I thought it was sand or something, it was weird. Well, it was definitely not hardcourt, and it wasn't that orangey red that clay is, so I'm still not sure.
  6. Yes, I get really intruiged by the blurbs and also the things at the end of the book that's like.. a clue to the next book or something. I like those things.

Jaysus! You serious?! That is outrage. This was on hardcourt, yes? I take that back. I COMPLETELY forgot about Paris. make that a few days rest til Paris and then after that just a few days rest too til FO. Jeez, tight schedule, ay. I've never been on a clay surface before, so I wouldn't know. Is it like... slidy?
  8. Yes, you are right! And the dramas are so similar. Like I said, some girl gets pregnant, girl's underage. Guy says he cheated on girl, some slaps here and there. It's so repetitive, it's funny. I haven't seen the finale of Lost yet. *bites nails* I can't find any videos on the internet for some reason. The suspense is killing me! Did you ever get into Lost at all?

Jaysus chroist. Well, I guess they had like, all their life to practise, plus most of them grew up on clay courts, ay. But DUDE. Sliding on hardcourts. Unbelievable. When I look at the footwork of the great players, it's almost ridiculous. How can they do that while also keeping their eyes on the ball and returning it?!

ROFL, Fair enough. It LOOKS hard, but Rafa and all those other clay courters make it look so easy. I mean, they just slide and glide and run around without effort. Damn them and their...professionalis..m..?

Ahh, well fair enough. I didn't even KNOW about clay courts till like, a few years ago. I thought there were only grass and hardcourts. Besides, I was never really into tennis back then. My dad tried to get me into it though, but I just sucked real big.

Why do you think it's the best slam? I think Wimbledon would be awesome to go too, minus the rain delays. And AO, as well. minus the heat. But yes, RG would be awesome to go to.
  13. I read the books when I was about..10 or so, they were the books that made me love reading in the first place. I thought them quite entertaining and easy reads, although I've already read them once. Most of it is just childish stuff though, and the Unfortunate Events that happen to the children are so unrealistic, it's funny. And with the patronising writing, I didn't really think any of it back then. I thought it helped me with the meaning of words and stuff. Besides, I liked his style of writing. It was for children, easy stuff so that kids can understand and find some humour in it, that's why I liked it so much. I thought the movie was good as a movie, but as an adaptation of the books, was quite bad. VERY bad. VERY VERY bad. In fact, one of the worst.

INDEED! I was shocked, actually. I didn't watch the match, since I was probably asleep, but when I checked the scores this morning I was like, NO WAY. I thought he was superman! Oh well, at least both of them have like, 8 days rest for RG. Cannot wait for that! And if they do not show it in One HD, I will SUE them, I will. Pretty sure they will though, cause it's a grand slam, they CAN'T miss a grand slam, but it's Australian Tv. It's ****.

Rafa won against Nando! woo! And Fed won of course against A-rod. So its Rafa vs Djerk Fed vs Del Popo. So for sure, it's gonna be a Rafa-fed final.
  16. Yes, I don't watch much television either. Australian free to air is craaaaaaap. And yes, most of the shows they show I don't like. like, neighbours (shudders) and bold and the beautiful (even more shudders). I don't like those kinda things because I think their acting is Very very very very bad. And usually the plot includes some girl getting pregnant, and the said girl cheating on the boyfriend, blehbluhblah.

  17. Oh right. Yes, I thought your review of Harukam Marik- bleh, something, was quite powerful, in your OTHER thread, Mac Reads 09. And I'm very interested in the Piano Tuner, too. Sounds like a good one, and...like, pretty much all the books in your McRecommend list thing. I shall check them out soon, maybe borrow them from ze library, no? Hopefully, I'll get my mojo back.

  18. I try to avoid re-reading and re-reading books I love because there are SO MANY books that I haven't read, so I feel like I'm missing out.

LOL, no worries with you saying mate all the time, mate. Oh wow, It might be contagious! :o

  19. Wow you really like that word don't you? Mate, I mean. My weekend is pretty much the same as yours. I don't think I'll be reading much though, it feels like I'm losing my mojo again! It's sad, really. :(

LOL Del Popo hit a ball at him? I find that funny for some reason. Oh and look, we have the same amount of posts! rofl, off topic but oh well.
  21. MissWhitlock

Yeah, I suppose. Oh, and I did not know Del Popo and Murray held grudges against each other. Do they?

Rafa V Verdasco should be good but then the last time they met turned to be quite an easy match, didn't it.
  23. Hello there Mac! Yes, I am quite well today, thank you. ;) You doing fine? Have any plans for the weekend?

  24. I have never heard of Waterloo Road. Whats it about?

Yes, I really liked Desperate Housewives, I only watched the first season though, didn't have time for the other ones. Garr. I also have to admit that I used to like stuff like One Tree Hill, The OC and stuff. Now OTH is losing it's touch though, since they're all adults now and the last season of The OC was very incredibly bad.

And I'm also a sucker for those sitcom type things. Friends, Scrubs.. OH and Doctor show things as well, Grey's Anatomy, House.. They're so awesome.
