  1. Yeah, I mean they have similarities, but it's crazy how different their sound is as well love them both!
  2. Something Corporate, i LOVE! But, they aren't very popular in the US even thought they are still known but are VERY popular in Canada
  3. Third Eye Blind hasn't come out with anything since the late 90's. I know Semisonic's "Closing Time": that was their only hit here in the US. Jack's Mannequin is huge over here too as well as the Goo Goo Dolls haha Everyone should check out Matthew Good Band and him as a soloist now. AMAZING He and his band are Canadian and haven't seem to spread anywhere else but everyone should listen because he and his band are amazing, even though he's solo now. (he's still amazing solo as well!) I will gladly send anybody songs but I know tons of his videos are on youtube! haha (some suggestions: weapon, the fine art of falling apart, apparitions, strange days, odette, 99% of us is failure, giant, i the throw away, 21st century living, load me up, running from home, whispering in the dark, house of smoke and mirrors) that should keep everyon busy ENJOY also a few other bands that everyone might not of heard of: fleet foxes, adem, midlake, big wreck, pinback and i would hope you guys have heard of kings of leon, but if not check em outtt!
  4. Matthew Good Band-"The Fine Art of Falling Apart": A time of darkness You will look absurd and you will feel inert And you will go looking to blame somebody You see I used to think that I'd get over everything But everything just got over me Incubus- "Privilege": Isn't it strange that a gift could be an enemy? Isn't it weird that a privilege could feel like a chore? Maybe it's me but this line isn't going anywhere, maybe if we looked hard enough, we could find a backdoor. i will probably add more as they come to me
  5. A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks was the only book I have ever read in one sitting, but if I am really into a book it might take me all of two days to read it
  6. Haha, that's awesome Yeah I am a hugeee poker fan. I play with my friends all the time and the movie, I agree, is like a gospel! lol

  12. I just read Jodi Picoult's new book, "Handle With Care". This book is about Charlotte, who has two girls, Amelia and Willow. Amelia is from a previous marriage and then Charlotte marries Sean and they have Willow. Willow is born with osteogenious imperfecta, which is a brittle bone disease, and it is basically about Charlotte fighting for her daughter's well being when no one else seems to think it's right. I definitely recommend it! It was amazing, as are her other books I have read so far (My Sister's Keeper, The Pact: A True Love Story, The Tenth Circle, and Nineteen Minutes). She is amazing and has such a great way of writing that keeps you interested until the very last sentence
  13. this couldn't have been a better topic to discuss as I just watched "The Tenth Circle" which is a movie based on Jodi Picoult's book. I read the book first and, obviously, I was thoroughly impressed. But, I regretfully downloaded this movie, thinking it would put a picture to the book I read, and it was a mistake on my part thinking that. The movie was terrible! The acting was poor and the scenes were choppy (just went from one to the next). The movie was only an hour and 35 mins long and that's when I should have known that the movie was going to suck! If anyone has seen this "lifetime" movie, then definitely read the book because you will be suprised at how much it blows the movie away!
