    Hello!

Hello and welcome I see you are re-reading the Twilight books - you will definately fit in here
  6. My suggestion would be Hunter S Thompson. I know he has been mentioned above, but I wanted to second the suggestion. Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas is a good place to start and is one of my favourite books.
  7. Are you looking for suggestions for a particular genre?
  8. I could buy so many things on there, don't think that my bank account can cope with it though
  9. What a good deal! I have just ordered them.....!! I have been trying to stop buying books, but I couldn't resist!
  10. I might add the books to my christmas list so I can re-read them all!
  11. A biography of Andre the Giant
  12. Yippee! "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
  13. I miss Sookie! Can't wait until the next installment.
  14. I thought that Esme looked gorgeous. Alice's hair is definately not as it is described in the book. I have seen pics of Kristen with shorter hair, so I guess it makes sense that she was wearing a wig. It looked good Jake looked so different when he had his hair cut.
  15. Is it the Blair Witch Project???
  16. The Confessions of Max Tivoli - Andrew Sean Greer From Play.com: Max Tivoli is writing the story of his life. He is nearly seventy years old, but he looks as if he is only seven - for Max is ageing backwards. The tragedy of Max's life was to fall in love at seventeen with Alice, a girl his own age - but to her, Max looks like an unappealingly middle-aged man. However when Max reaches the age of thirty-five, with an appearance to match, he has his second chance at love. But tragedy befalls this star-crossed couple, and desperate measures are required. Another good read! I liked the way that Max and Alice met at various times during their lives, but things bever quite worked out for them which was a bit tragic. I could kind of guess from the start of the book that things wouldn't end well, but I still wanted to read to find out what happens. I did feel a bit sorry from Max's oldest Friend Hughie as he wasn't treated very well! Mark: 9/10
  17. The Five People You Meet in Heaven - Mitch Albom From Play.com: From the author of the phenomenal number one bestseller TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, comes this enchanting, beautifully written novel that explores a mystery only heaven can unfold. Eddie is a grizzled war veteran who feels trapped in the toil of his father before him, fixing rides at a seaside amusement park. Then he dies in a tragic accident, trying to save a little girl from a falling cart. He awakens in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a lush Garden of Eden, but a place where your earthly life is explained to you by five people who were in it. These people may have been loved ones or distant strangers. Yet each of them changed your path forever. As the story builds to its stunning conclusion, Eddie desperately seeks redemption in the still-unknown last act of his life. Was it a heroic success or a devastating failure? The answer is as magical and inspirational as a glimpse of heaven itself. I really liked the underlying message of this book which was how you can impact on someone else's life without even knowing it. I enjoyed this book as the concept was interesting and it really leaves the reader with something to think about. Mark 8/10
  18. I wish that I could go and watch it with someone who actually appreciates it! My b/f was very annoying when we went last week. Maybe we should organised a BCF outing to the cinema??
  19. I know what you mean. I hated him in the books, but he came accross as quite likeable in the film. I wouldn't say that I am in Team Jacob yet though!
  20. Can't wait to hear your thoughts Nollaig! I may go and see it again
  21. I think that some of the Craig/Len feud is pantomime. I also used to like Len, but if any of the chereography is a little different to the norm, he doesn't like it. For example, he didn't like Ricky's lift this week and he always moans if people don't go straight in to hold etc. I personally don't like watching Natalie and Vincent (sorry Natalie fans!). She is very enthusiastic, but I find that she looks a bit awkward when she dances. I think that she will be better suited to the charlston. I love Vincent as a dance though. Ali never really comes accross as having much personality so I think that she may struggle this week. Slightly off topic, but I watched Dancing with the Stars a few weeks ago and Melissa Joan Hart did the charlston and it really was amazing! Did any one else see it?
  22. I like Craig too. At least when you get praise from him, you know it is well deserved. Unlike the other judges who seem to be giving away 10's freely.
  23. I actually cannot wait to listen to the DVD! It will be really interesting to hear what they all have to say about a few of the really cheesy moments. I am really looking forward to Eclipse
  24. I noticed that too! I guess that it was something like
  25. It didn't look bad or anything. Just very different from his dress sense in Twilight which was more t-shirts and over shirts. He seems to dress as if he is older in New Moon.
