  1. Has anyone else noticed that Edward dressed differently in this film? He was wearing a lot of blazer things. Not sure why they changed his dress sense all of a sudden??
  2. I agree Weave. We see Edward
  3. Most people laughed at the bit where There was also laughter when The part where I didn't really like the way that they I did like Charlie and all of his one liners. Also, They really forced the
  4. Two of my favourite books are in your list!! 1984 and Fear & Loathing. I have a copy of the Rum Diary, but I haven't got around to reading it yet.
  5. I have heard good things about Picoult, but have never picked up ay of her books. I would be interested in knowing which book to start with.
  6. Howdy
  7. Hello and welcome.
  8. These are my five choices: 1. The Host - Stephenie Meyer 2. The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks 3. Confessions of an Ugly Step Sister - Gregory Maguire 4. Men of the Otherworld - Kelley Armstrong 5. The Summoning - Kelley Armstrong I like in the UK and don't mind posting anywhere.
  9. I saw it last night - yippee!! A couple of things that very nearly ruined it for me: 1. I had to queue outside of the door to the cinema in the freezing cold despite the fact that I had pre-booked and got there over an hour early. 2. The girl sat next to me eating some stinky and noisy snacks. 3. People trying to queue jump with their mother saying it was okay! tsk 3. The other girl behind me kicking my seat. 4. My b/f asking stupid questions like why are the out in the sunlight, why can Carlise stand the smell of blood, why isn't Victoria scary, why does the one with the scary hair want to kill Bella, why does Bella never smile (the lists goes on.....) Anyhow, down to business. I really enjoyed it. However, if I had not read the books, I don't think that I would have liked it half as much. There were a few really cringeworthy moments where the whole cinema started laughing which wasn't the intention. On the plus side, Charlie was awesome and I found myself liking Jake a lot more. Also, anyone else think that the guy who plays Mike has really changed since Twilight??
  10. 2 hours until I see it now!! I can barely contain my excitement!!! woooohooooooo!
  11. It is mainly witchy if I remember rightly - a few returning characters from previous books. I liked Dime Store Magic, it is a really good base for the future books.
  12. I just loved the fact that you said 'gert'!!
  13. She develops well as a character too. Yay for Paige!
  14. I really enjoyed reading this book too. I think that I will re-read them all at some point they are all fabulous in different ways. I like Paige as a character, she is a bit more 'normal' so is easier to relate to.
  15. I'm not a Claudia fan and never have been. Having said that, she wasn't too bad on Saturday night. Poor Ronnie, I liked him He did his best with a limited amount of prep time. Plus, he is getting on a bit. Brucie stutters his way through most weeks. Ricky should have gone. I haven't really liked him since the start. He takes it all so seriously and doesn't really come accross as having any character. Ricky Whittle could be awesome (he very nearly is!). I think that they try and do some really flash chereography when he should probably focus on getting the fundamentals right first as he tends to lose his timing. Layla shouldn't have danced and I agree that she got the sympathy vote. I kind of hope see leaves soon, I don't like watching her and Anton. I thought that the professional dancers were fabulous in their dances this week. As were the street dancers that performed.
  16. I think that he will be with the wolves purely becuase he hates RPatz. (I think that the RPatz wallpaper on our desktop tipped him over the edge!)
  17. I think that you have been very fair with that list. I had to explain the whole Team Edward/Team Jacob thing to my b/f - tsk!
  18. I have told my o/h that he isn't allowed to talk at all during the film. I have told him that if he does, there will be dire consequences
  19. I can't wait!!!!!! I will go and see it over the weekend sometime. My boyfriend has been told that he is coming with me. In return, I will buy him some popcorn.
  20. I read this earlier this year and despite high expectations, I didn't really enjoy it. The language was very 'flowery' for want of a better word and the story took a while to get in to. I actually found it a little boring. I am glad that I have read it, but wouldn't read it again.
  21. And........
  22. I love Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. I like a bit of classical although I am no buff on the subject. I like the Enigma Variations by Elgar. I like all sorts of music, but mainly lean towards indie and rock.
  23. I sometimes wish that I hadn't read the books so fast, then I would still have my Eric fix now
  24. I think that I need rehab or something....I am missing my weekly Eric fix so much *swoons*
  25. Regarding hardback or paperback. I think (as someone else has said above), that there should be a maximum cost for any book that you put in your wishlist. Provided it is within the maxium, it shouldn't matter if it is hardback/paperback. Although, posting hardbacks yourself to another country may be a bit costly.
