  1. That is so admirable! Kids kind of scare me....probably becuase I don't know how to act around them

  2. awwww, it is hard work and boring now, but will definately be worth it in the end! What do you want to teach?

  3. Oh my...your profile should come with a health warning with that pic at the top. My poor ticker can't cope with all of these gorgeous pics! Your av is lovely too. I struggled to pick just one to use as they are all so gorgeous! I'm good thanks, how's things with you?

  4. I love Glee, it is one of the best things on the tv!
  5. That one is lovely too Bookjumper. I really like notebooks with the ribbon down the middle so you don't lose your page. Also (as a paper-hogger), I like it if the book can be sealed shut so you can put loose bits of paper in between the pages without the fear or the journal opening and paper going everywhere.
  6. I really like the look of that one - it has a lot of pages which is handy.
  7. I spoke my one of the IT chappys at work today and he said that the hacker problem with my e-mails has happened to quite a lot of people. It appears that the virus has been spreading via hotmail. Anyhoo, he said that I should open a new account with gmail (or similar) which I have now done. I feel a bit sad for my old hotmail account though, we had been together a while!
  8. Well, you put me to shame!
  9. Johnny is our resident IT expert!
  10. I have the paid for version of Norton. It isn't very good though!
  11. I have Norton - will that do the job? (sorry for my ignorance, easily confused!!) People in my contact list have received an e-mail with my name on it, quoting a website called universe-cosmos saying "Hey, check out my new iPhone" or similar Maybe they just used it to send an e-mail out regarding that one thing?
  12. I don't know why they have to make is so difficult?!
  13. It is really frustrating isn't it? You think that it has worked and it hasn't.
  14. I have tried to link outlook with my hotmail account before, but it is (sadly) beyond my capabilities!
  15. I don't think so. Especially as I was at work so I would definately have signed out.
  16. I just don't know how they did it! I logged on at lunchtime (at work) and everything was fine. Maybe I should mention to the IT dept?
  17. I'm trying to do that now, it is hard to remember them all though I'm so annoyed. Thanks for all of your suggestions
  18. Thanks. I have just filled in the form etc, but I can't remember my secret word etc without the prompt as I created the account about 15 years ago. What I am most worried about is any password reminders and stuff that will have been sent to that account
  19. HELP!! I have just tried to log in to Hotmail and it won't let me as it says that the password is incorrect which it isn't. I selected the forgot password option and it just sends a reminder of my password to that same e-mail address. People are now getting rogue e-mails from me. There is nowhere on the hotmail/msn site to report it. Any suggestions? I am concerned as I have e-mails with various webiste usernames etc on it.
  20. I finished the Bell Jar today and I really enjoyed it.
  21. It is the first 10/10 I have ever given on here. I found her own life really interesting. Such a shame that this was the only novel that she wrote.
  22. The Bell Jar - Slyvia Plath From Amazon:Plath was an excellent poet but is known to many for this largely autobiographical novel. The Bell Jar tells the story of a gifted young woman's mental breakdown beginning during a summer internship as a junior editor at a magazine in New York City in the early 1950s. The real Plath committed suicide in 1963 and left behind this scathingly sad, honest and perfectly- written book, which remains one of the best-told tales of a woman's descent into insanity My thoughts: Although I had heard a lot of things about this book, I had never really thought about reading it until it was recommended to me by someone at work. The story is told through the eyes of the protagonist, Esther Greenwood and we get to see her slip in to madness. I love the way that the narrative of the book changes in accordance to her state of mind at the the time. Esther starts to behave quite selfishly when her illness begins to take over and at times (especially in the mental institution), she is very childish. Although the book can be very dark at times, I think that there is a possitive ending. The fact that this book is semi-autobiographical makes the story even more harrowing and thought provoking. Marks: 10/10

    More football

I'm off to see Leicester v Cardiff tomorrow. Looking forward to it as it should be a good game. Fingers crossed that it isn't raining!
  25. I liked New Moon too, it totally changed my opinion about Jake as he comes across as a much more likeable character. I can't wait for Eclipse as I really liked the book.
