  1. A book of the history of the Earth with 10,000 years on each page would be 145 miles long and take about 17,000 years to read at 1 minute per page! The things I learn in Biology... But on my bookshelf a book about London which is just under 1000 I think.
  2. Does anyone watch the soap neighbours? What do you think of current storylines, characters etc.?
  3. I really enjoyed this book. I think it is one of those books that you can keep re-reading - and I have several times.
  4. I really enjoy being human. It's just so different! I couldn't believe last nights revelation The show has got me really hooked.
  5. I'm reading New Moon at the moment so have only read Twilight the whole way through. I think the overall concept of the Twilight Saga is great but Harry Potter is a more page to page gripping read.

    Hello!

Hi. I know i've been around for a couple of days and now i've got to grips with the forum I thought I would properly introduce myself! I'm Claire and I live in South East England. I love reading but generally pick up and read anything I like the look of. See you around!
  10. Yes, I guess we become quite attached to Sephy and Callum in the other books.
  11. I did enjoy the Twilight film but I felt that they missed key bits out. I haven't seen PS I Love You. What's it like compared to the book?
  12. I have read Noughts and Crosses, Knife Edge and Checkmate and loved them - the first more than the rest. I am currently struggling through Double Cross. I don't know what it is but it has never really got me hooked. What does everyone else think about the fourth one?
  13. I'm having Sausage and Mash tonight. Last time I had it was in a restaurant and the sausages looked and tasted dodgy! Thankfully tonight my Dad's cooking.
  14. Mmm hard one! Probably The ABC Murders. I take it you're a fan too? What's your favourite?

  16. I have loads of bookmarks but I can never find one when I want one. I usually end up using bits of paper, tissue (clean!) or I memorise the page number - which never works!
