But how many times have you read
"Mr and Mrs Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much."
Believe it or not, that was from memory
strangely I would be able to quote that off by heart even though I usually skip the first few chapters, but I couldn't do that with chamber of secrets which is my favourite.

Well I just finished it but
In the beginning, I believed in second chances.
Change of Heart- Jodi Picoult
-
Callum annoys me, he's the only one really.
I actually saw Karl Kennedy's band when I was at uni, that was fun
-
Chicken with lemon and coriander tonight
-
We did have the evil sister though
-
Is that it? You must have a lot of self control!
More lack of funds! I was buying more when I was working but didn't usually have a pile of more than 3, I would buy them in the 3 for 2 offer at waterstones, read them then buy more.
I have 2 others I'm waiting to receive though
-
I can't believe they gave away such a big thing in the advert though!
-
lol you forgot the psychiatrist. Personally I'd say Tye is the most attractive too, but really there's been nobody that attractive since Dylan left
-
Did anyone else see the preview/advert for next weeks episode? Think I worked out
when Mark comes back. He has to be the doctor who treated the new chief's son, right? So she has a flashback?

I saw this on Monday while the boyfriend was here. Was good, but a little predictable in parts I think. It made me laugh more than I expected, in fact it wasn't really what I expected at all but it was good all the same

no Birmingham, there are two!

I have a bookmooch account, but my wishlist is much longer than my inventory! My username on there is lucybird too, feel free to friend me

For some reason i can't stomach toast first thing, but pasta... hmm maybe im just weird.
I have a friend who sometimes eats left over curry first thing, so pasta isn't so weird after that.
We had chilli tonight

Everyday . They dragged out the who's pregnant thing a bit too long I think, I prefer the story know we know. Declan is being a bit of an idiot, but I still think Bridgit is being a bit hard on him, he was obviously just acting like that cause he was freaked out
-
Because there's not space for them all
I hated leaving all my books behind when I went to uni too. I gained so many while there I filled almost a whole new bookcase though
-
Which one do you want to see? We have umm...*counts* 8 bookcases or shelves in our house, 3 of which have some of my books on...oh make that 4 of which...the whole of my family has trouble getting rid of books.

I agree, illustrations can be really good when reading. Usually not everything is illustrated so the kids get to fill in the gaps with their imagination.
I still remember lots of books with great illustrations. The Jaquiline Wilson books with all the illustrations by Nick Sharet, The Shirley Hughes books. And books with illustrations by Quinten Blake (and sometimes written by him too)

I generally like indie/rock stuff, but like some pop too. My favourite band are called Misty's Big Adventure and are a bit hard to categorise

Try ratatouille, easy, only uses the hob, plenty of veg. and tasty! I used to cook it for my uni friends and all but the boyfriend (who complained about the lack of meat) left uni with the recipe.
I'll give you recipe in case you don't know it
For 4 use:
1 corgette/zuccini
1 green pepper
1 aubegine/egg plant
1 small tin kidney beans
About 5 mushrooms (depending on size)
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1 onion
1 large tin chopped tomatoes
1. Chop corgette and aubigene into strips and salt
2. Fry onion and garlic
3. Add chopped mushrooms and pepper
4. Rinse salt off corgette and aubigene, add
5. Add tomatoes in juice and stir
6. Allow to simmer for about 20 minutes
7. Rinse kidney beans and add cook for about a minute
8. You may want to add basil too
9. Serve with pasta and/or garlic bread (I believe you can get garlic bread which can go in the microwave)

I quite like detective novels and war novels myself, but not thrillers, I get scared toon easily
-
Yup me too. I can't even begin to think how long my TBR pile would be if it included my wishlist

Nothing really, I guess I don't read those types of books. The closest was probably Engleby by Sebastian Fawkes, because I liked the ain character and kind of felt I shouldn't
