  1. Morning, Noon and Night - Sidney Sheldon
  2. I have (always!). Never have I ever been water-skiing.
  3. Is it just me supporting Spain then? Ah well, I usually end up on a different side to everyone else.
  4. It was a great game to watch - hardly any falling over or lumping other players, well refereed, open play and my team won! I wish it had been the final, as Germany have played so well throughout the tournament, and all credit goes to them for the spirit with which they played today. My team are in the final though!!!!!
  5. Germany v Spain ... COME ON, SPAIN!!!!!
  6. Finished a re-read of Eclipse this evening, and am going back to carry on with Obsidian Butterfly by Laurell K. Hamilton now.
  7. I have. Never have I ever been to university.
  8. 1. One book that made you read it more than once: Mapp and Lucia by E. F. Benson - so quintessentially English, beautifully written, wickedly observed. 2. One book you would want on a desert island: The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer - I know, I know, but there's something about the story that completely captivates me every time I read it, and I get so engrossed I forget to stop for meals, so I figure on a desert island with limited foodstuffs, at least I wouldn't worry about feeling hungry if I had these to read! 3. One book that made you laugh: The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde - laugh out loud funny, I'd never read anything like it before and remains one of my favourites, and, one of the reasons I joined BCF to be able to discuss it! 4. One book that made you cry: The Ripening Sun by Patricia Atkinson - I got so caught up in the lives of Patricia and her closest friends, and the unexpected turn of events at the end made me sob for quite a while as I was finishing the book. 5. One book that made you wish you had written: Persuasion by Jane Austen - nothing more I can say, the question says it all. 6. One book that made you wish had never been written: Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis De Berni
  9. I'm supporting Spain, so I obviously want them to win tonight!
  10. I've just had a look on IMDB (http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt1325004/faq#.2.1.13) and it says there isn't a scene at the end of the credits - perhaps there will be one as an easter egg on the DVD release?
  11. I'm exactly the same. I'm just reading the book again now, and I can remember certain things from the film, but now I've big holes in my memory as to where the film differs. Roll on the weekend!
