Finished Obsidian Butterfly - pretty disappointed with it, but I hope it's just a blip, as I already have the next one on the series from the library. Think I'll try and finish off Nocturnes by Kazuo Ishiguro next - one short story in the collection left to read.

I also popped into Waterstone's this morning, intending to get the new collection of short stories by Simon Van Booy, which the sales assistant looked up and said they had in stock, but we couldn't find it in Short Stories or Fiction or Romance or even Crime, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, or Childrens! We ended up giving up and she's ordered it for me, but their distributors say it's out of stock at the moment, so I'll probably have to wait a couple of weeks While I was there, picked up the next in Alyson No

Those are two of the ones I've read! Restless was excellent, and took over from my previous favourite of his Any Human Heart. I like that he writes about different things, and from both male and female perspectives, and in different styles too. A very interesting author. Oh, and he keeps manuscripts he's working on in the fridge, as he was always told that burglars never look in there!
