  1. Cheesy chips, oh they are so yummy
  2. Reading about Kylie's book fair last night, I remembered about the book festival that's held in Lincoln every year, so I went to look for information about it and accidently stumbled across a site and on it I found that there's a book swap meet held at the end of every month in town, so I'm definitely going to be going to that at the end of the month and taking the books I don't want anymore to trade for something I do want
  3. Ooo thanks Gyre, that's a great price!
  4. This sounds great Janet, I've added it to my wishlist!
  5. I love it! It must be so nice to live in such a lovely house, and even better to know you did the whole thing yourself! I can't wait to see more pics anyway :D I've been pretty good, been struggling with my mojo lately, but started reading Dexter last night and I can barely put it down, it's so good! :D How are things with you? Last night was really fun, we went to a friends new place, it was also gorgeous, I'm so jealous of all these lovely houses! But it's just made me really want to get our own place, wish the money situation was better so it was possible, but we'll see how it goes I guess! :) Weekend has been really good so far, tonight will just be relaxing and reading, so it's all good :D How has your weekend been? :) x

  8. No, that character has already been cast and it was a male (I can't remember who it is though, I'm sure someone else will be along to tell you ) I've read more about it though and apparantly and the part was specially written for her to play, I'm kind of curious to see how it will play out
  9. I'm reading Dexter By Design atm, so I can soon return your precious books Charm This is a great series though, and luckily the tv show has turned out really good too

  12. For One More Day by Mitch Albom No. of pages: 197 Rating: 4/5 Synopsis: Charley Benetto is a broken man, his life destroyed by alcohol and regret. He loses his job. He leaves his family. He hits rock bottom after discovering he won't be invited to his only daughter's wedding. And he decides to take his own life. Charley takes a midnight ride to his small hometown: his final journey. But as he staggers into his old house, he makes an astonishing discovery. His mother - who died eight years earlier - is there, and welcomes Charley home as if nothing had ever happened. What follows is the one seemingly ordinary day so many of us yearn for: a chance to make good with a lost parent, to explain the family serets and to seek forgiveness. Review: When Charley Benetto finds out his daughter got married without inviting him, he decides his life is just not worth living anymore. With no wife, a daughter that doesn't want to know him and a life dependent on alcohol, Charley drives back to his childhood home to kill himself. But his mother who died 8 years previously is there, and what follows is a day Charley will never forget. This book is very like Albom's two previous books, basically it's about death and redemption, but like the other two, it's very easy and enjoyable to read. It makes you think about things you'd go back and change if you had the chance to do it, and the things you'd say to people you've lost in your life. His books always leave me with something, and I think about them for days after I've finished reading them. I definitely would recommend reading one of his books, they're kind of touching and well worth the read.
  13. Mine gets annoyed with all the sex too
  14. I made a yummy lasagne, I'm a pro at it now
  15. I wonder if she'll be turned in the end? Do you guys think she will?
  16. Well it's a really popular series, so in theory she'd make a lot of money if she wrote as many as she could before interest in them was lost
  17. Don't look Charm, then it'll be even better when you see it for yourself!
  18. I'm a broken man who is about to kill himself, but before I do I'm going back to my childhood home
  19. The Hound Of The Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle No. of pages: 148 Rating: 4/5 Synopsis: The Hound of the Baskervilles is the classic detective chiller. It features the world's greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes, in his most challenging case. The Baskerville family is haunted by a phantom beast "with blazing eyes and dripping jaws" which roams the mist-enshrouded moors around the isolated Baskerville Hall on Dartmoor. Now the hound seems to be stalking young Sir Henry, the new master of the Baskerville estate. Is this devilish spectre the manifestation of the family curse? Or is Sir Henry the victim of a vile and scheming murderer? Only Sherlock Holmes can solve this devilish affair. Review: When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead under suspicious circumstances, his close friend goes to Sherlock Holmes for help to solve the mystery of the hound that curses the Baskerville family... When this book was chosen for a book circle, I was dreading having to read it. I've never managed to complete a 'classic' book before because for some reason I just cannot get my head around the old language. But I was pleasantly surprised, not only that I managed to read it pretty easily, but that I really enjoyed it too! I've always loved a good mystery and this one was well written, although parts of the ending were fairly guessable. The characters had very strong personalities, and although many weren't that likeable, I thought Watson was a great character and he fast became my favourite. I will definitely be looking into other Sherlock Holmes books in the future!
  20. He's a vampire in Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series
  21. Me either, and I'm off to find and join the group
  22. I'm thinking pasta in garlic tomato and chilli sauce
  23. He's in the first one only, and not very much, he's a much bigger character in the show as so many people love him
  24. I agree with all the comments, you just can never imagine how one human being could do this to another let alone a mother to her own child. I haven't read the brother's books though, so I'll have to get them at some point.
