Sorry Michelle, I've had no internet to reply since I lasted messaged you! I'm on a dodgy connection so I'm not around much.
How are you feeling now? Better I hope, since it's been a couple of days!
What are the other two subjects Beth did out of curiosity? Math was always a weak area for me, here we do Honours or Ordinary level classes throughout the 5 years of secondary school, and Math was the only one I had to concede defeat on and do Ordinary level
I'm not too bad, quite tired because I've been travelling so much the last couple of days - slept about 13 hours last night and woke up tired still. Definately thinking pilllllllls

Hiya!
Just said I'd pop in say hi. Saw on Facebook that you have a migraine That really sucks. If it's any consolation (or just plain funny -) I have a self-inflicted headache and massively puffy eyes today as a result of watching a movie I KNEW would make me absolutely cry my eyes out late last night I look like I haven't slept in a month and feel like I've been drinking every night of that month!
Congrats again for Beth - you must be delighted! And it's one less thing to worry about - picking a school might be stressful but at least it's a proud-parent related stress!
Hows everything else going? x

Hello! Haven't been talking to you in months!
I've been great - loads of reading, writing, reviewing, gaming, art....ing. Meeting-Tim-Minchin-ing.
Nollaig is my actual name. Roxi is just my favourite name, so it's usually my online alias.
In response to your comments on my artwork: thank you, and I did all the work on there in Paintshop. (Not the same as Adobe Photoshop, I couldn't even work that.) I do everything from scratch, usually with a base of solid colours, and then layer upon layer of varying lighter and darker shades of varying opacities. Still only learning really.
Hows all with you? Haven't seen you round the forum in ages til recently.

It's my favourite name, which is why I usually use it online. But I recently emailed an author to do with reviews and things, and I had to say, 'this is Nollaig (Roxi on BCF)', and it just sounds weird, so I'd rather use my actual name. It's more formal.

Thank you! I put a lot of effort into it
I'm good! I've booked a ticket to see Mika in Dublin, and I'm booking another to see him in Belfast two days earlier. So I'm going up with a girl from uni - 5 day trip! Day 1 - Travel to Belfast, Day 2 - Belfast gig, Day 3 - Travel to Dublin, Day 4 - Dublin gig, Day 5 - travel home XD
Should be awesome.

I did! I'm Nollaig on the Review site and the other day I had to email an author and say, 'Hi this is Nollaig (a.k.a Roxi on BCF)' and just thought, 'that doesn't work.' So I changed it.

Haha, I did know, but thank you very much for thinking to tell me, I really appreciate it! xx

I'm great! Nearly a week later and I'm still on a high from meeting Tim Minchin! *sigh* I'm such a fangirl, I sicken myself
I didn't go see the movie, I refuse to pay money towards it, Oscar would turn in his grave if I did! I'll 'acquire' it when it becomes more 'available' elsewhere, just so I can justifiably rant about it

Just a quick message to inform you that your post broke a couple of the rules you're supposed to have read upon signing up - namely posting promotional posts outside the promotional forum and trying to get around the required 10 post count to post links.
Your thread has been moved and the link removed for now, pending Admin review.

Hey Michelle, how are you? Hope things are good.
I was just wondering if I could pick your brains about a health related issue, just for suggestions? For ages now I've been constantly tired and (on and off) I've had a woozy head, it's usually when I wake up or get extra tired that the wooziness kicks off. It hurts a little when I move my eyes around a lot, and I think light makes it hurt a bit more too. I'll probably end up going to the doctor anyway but any suggestions at all would be appreciated, as I can't really afford a doctor trip.
Thanks in advance..

Hey Bev, sorry about the delay in replying. Not at my best lately. However, my book arrived and I LOVE it. Like, I was just holding it and smelling it for ages. It's beautiful. I wish all my books could be bound like that. Thank you so, so much.
I didn't get any msn messages from you the other night, what did you say?

Hey Mac! Ugh, heatstroke. I am not a fan in any way. I've been suffering so much with the sun lately. There are less painful ways to die that planting hedges in rocky ground under relentless sun
Things could be better, I'm stress as usual, apparently my house is going up for sale, and while if it doesn't sell we get to keep it, we realistically have to look at new places. We're looking at one this evening.
