  1. Snap! I'm really hard to please when it comes to eatings, much as I love them
  2. Hes awesome. I love the guy. Hate his music, but I love him. (Although he does great cover versions.) But I've always had a soft spot for him - to me he embodies every falsely accused personality. The best bit is he just doesn't care that people don't know, and rightfully so. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Long_Hard_Road_Out_of_Hell
  3. I don't know if Marylin Manson has one, but if he has, I'd love to read it. Hes one of those wonderfully understated minds out there, because of how the public percieves his stage persona
  4. Lots of blood and gore for the Blood And Murder person! Hahaha. Sounds like my kinda thing
  5. My most commonly used names are: Roxi, Noll, 'Hey you' and I just made a list. YAY thanks
  6. That could work too.
  7. I think thats probably the most basic challenge everybody on this forum engages in everyday....... so no. Thats a good idea actually, I don't know if we do...?
  8. AHA! Wait til Janet sees that! I like a list too. Thats very cool. I have a challenge! - Come up with a challenge no one has come up with before!
  9. Its okay! It could be worse! I could love Twilight! .... Oh wait.
  10. HAHAHA oh god, we're going to end up with lists for every COUNTY in the world I do love developing the lists Although to be fair, Lexiepiper was the biggest contributer to this thread, she put me to shame!
  11. *sniff, sniff* Its probably my inner fifteen year old holding me to it =D
  12. Oh whoops, didn't see your post Kell, sorry - I must check that out! I'm getting obsessed with challenges!
  13. Aha! You're the person with the decades challenge. I had thought about that even before I saw yours. If you start working on an English Counties one, I might tag along if you don't mind and start developing my own list too
  14. Awhhh I'm really glad you liked it! You have great taste! I only blabbed about it here in my thread because I'll be covering the second two books soon. Awwwhhh that spoils it =[ Heres how the ending differed: So that really really annoyed me. Other than that, I thought it was quite a good adaption, and most parts were played very well.
  15. Oh well I meant I didn't think there would be one book for every county! It'd be fun to find out though. 'How to make Guiness, and then uphold the Irish Alcoholic reputation while drinking it!'
  16. The movie ruins the endddddddd =P It takes a chunk from the start of Book 2 and incorporates it (really badly) and makes it all happy-fied. Still, I was having fits inside in the cinema. Possibly my favourite fairytale character EVER, played by PAUL FRICKIN BETTANY!!! I love that man, so much. EDIT: And hahaha at your 'reduced in tesco' bit Thank God for Tesco!
  17. Thank you for putting this back on topic. I agree, its a nice idea. I think it probably would bemore difficult with England though, because its much smaller It would be impossible with Ireland, and even if it wasn't, I wouldn't want to read what came out of half the counties here. 'How to grow the perfect spuds' or something about farming would inevitably come from my county.
  18. Never heard of him! Going to check him out
  19. Fine, whatever, I'm a retard then.
  20. Its already out here, thanks Ceinwenn! I've seen it, and they destroyed one of the two great things about the book - the ending But it was an enjoyable watch indeed! And Paul Bettany as my beloved Dustfinger - truly brilliant.
  21. What the hell has this got to do with this thread anyway? Additionally - I know what MY country is, its the relation between the others that I'm not entirely sure about, I know they're governed by the monarchy/prime minister, but I don't know exactly how them being seperate countries works. As for the Great Britain/United Kingdom thing, I wasn't sure because I never think about it because its pretty much irrelevant to me. Apparently however, I knew exactly what it was, because I was right essentially in what I said when I thought about it. I didn't want to state what I wasn't entirely sure of at the exact time I was posting. So no, you don't need to sound harsh, and until you start posting about books from various countries, you can get out of this thread and all.
  22. O.o Did I say something wrong? o.o Well, tbh I don't even know the political dealy with that..... I think we're the UK but not Great Britain (GB = Scotland, england, wales and Northern ireland) and United Kingdom is actually 'United Kingdoms of Great Britain and Ireland', (or something, I'm really not certain) but what I meant was, because the monarchy doesn't have anything to do with us, we've our President/Taoiseach and so on.
