I didn't take too many notes on the last three books I read... and I'm being really lazy about writing rambles on them too I really should get that sorted soon...

When I was in 'high school' - my library never got used. It was some books in the back of a classroom. Now they've built a seperate building for the library, but I can't imagine it gets used much. My really old copy of The Count Of Monte Cristo came from that library - I borrowed it and took so long reading it that the teacher (also my neighbour and english teacher) told me to keep it.

Thats not off topic at all - you're still talking bout reading in relation to your bad experiences, which is essentially what this thread is about. I can read books about anything, no matter what's going on in my life - but I do find books containing examples of what's missing in my life upset me greatly.
