  1. Happy Birthday! :)

  2. I am looking forward to reading The Time Traveler's Wife. When I see that people love it so much, I know it must be something special. Yeah, I went through an obsessive Jodi Picoult phase, hehe. I loved The Pact and Nineteen Minutes, have you read those ones? I did like My Sister's Keeper too but didn't think it was anything too special. Maybe I should read it again, it was a few years ago!

  3. I'm going to have to go with Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman. I just love it too much. Yours is The Time Traveler's Wife, right? I'm reading that next :)

  4. Ooh, I was talking about that the other day with my sister. That's one I would like to read too. *Adds to wishlist* :) I've not seen the film but I've heard about it. It sounds like a lovely idea!

  5. The film made me cry as well! It's so sad. I actually thought the film was better than the book but it's definitely worth reading if you enjoyed the film. :)

  6. Yes, I think I read it at some point last year. I thought it was really good too :). I like the film as well. Have you read A Walk To Remember by him?

  7. Hey :) Noticed you're reading The Notebook. What do you think to it?

  8. Wow, you've read 8 books in Jan?! I've only read 2! I need to step it up a bit if I want to get through my TBR pile :). As for Melissa Hill - She does write chick lit but it's usually something a little different. They're less predictable and there's always twists in them. Just hoping that this one turns out alright, coz I'm sick of it!

  9. Hehe, don't apologize, I love it really! :D. I'm on Never Say Never by Melissa Hill at the moment. It's really average and I'm just reading it to get through it at the moment. After reading Testimony, I fancied something a bit lighter but I'm regretting it now! What are you reading?

  10. :D Yep! Another one of your recommendations. What are you doing to my bank account?! :tong: I'm going to read that after The Time Traveler's Wife. If I ever finish the one I'm on at the minute.
  11. Hello. Just saw the 'What's up today' thread. I'm sorry to hear about your auntie. :friends0:I hope you're ok. Love, BookBee (Katie) x

  12. Hello :) How are you? Read anything good lately? Love BookBee!

  13. :) I know! I was far too excited when I noticed, hehe.
  14. I liked the movie too, although it was awkward in some parts I thought it captured most of the characters pretty well. I would definitely recommend The Host. It's very slow to begin but once you get into it, it's very good :)

  15. Hey! I love you already! Love your name and your avatars :D. I'm a little bit obsessed with Twilight, hehe.

I read on a thread that you were looking for suggestions for reading after Twilight? When I finished them I bought The Host too and I enjoyed that one as well. :D Other ones I found were:

-The Otherworld Series by Kelley Armstrong

    - Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris.

-Black Dagger Brotherhood by J. R. Ward.

-The Little Goddess Books by Amy Lane. (Apparently v.similar to Twilight)

-The Vampire Diaries by L. J. Smith.

Hope this gives you some idea :). Welcome to the forum!

  16. Ok..I meant guessed* and have tripled**. Typo!!

  17. Hey! Thank you. And yep, you guess it, I love purple :). Ha, getting lots of ideas?! My TBR pile and wishlist and tripled since I joined this forum. I can't complain though, I'm loving it.

  18. That's what I love about Jodi Picoult though. Each book is focused around a completely different topic. So two people can be fans of her yet like completely different ones. A few were very forgettable for me though; like Keeping Faith. I can't actually remember that one at all! As for The Host, you should have bought it! Hehe, it's very good.

  19. Hehe :) I know the feeling! Did you like the movie? And have you read The Host by her? x

  20. Hey! I'm pretty sure I've read all of Ceceila Ahern's books too. For some reason, I never finished PS. I love you. I just gave up on it! I think I might try and give it another go though seeing as everyone else seems to like it! I've read all Dorothy Koomson's and I can't wait for her to bring out another one, I love her style. My Best Friend's Girl was my favourite. The others were also great reads but not to the same standard as that one. As for Jodi Picoult, I've read... *goes and counts* eight of hers and my favourites were The Pact and Nineteen Minutes, have you read those? I thought Salem Falls was pretty good also. To be honest, I didn't see what all the fuss was about with My Sister's Keeper...I can hardly remember it! I have read The Host and I would definitley recommened it! You should give it a go :). It's obviously different to Twilight but I did cry at one point, so I did become quite attached to it. It's very slow to begin though!

  21. Hehe yes, my friend won't let me forget that one. It was only recently too so I can't even blame being a child! Hehe, I know. I act exactly the same and then get home and think 'google'!

  22. Hello :). Just saw on a thread that we like pretty much exactly the same authors! I also love Jodi Picoult, Ceceilia Ahern, J.K Rowling, Dorothy Koomson and Stephenie Meyer :). Which are your favourites by those?
