  1. It's happened to the book I'm reading at the moment and it's bugging me! Keep trying to scratch it off but it's not moving.
  2. The stickers on books. The ones that when you try to take off, leave it all sticky. You don't know whether it's going to be an easy peel one or a horrible one until you start taking it off, and by then it's too late.
  3. I love showers and I don't really mind the getting dry part. It's the fixing my hair part which bugs me, takes so long!
  4. I know, it's not like me at all! I do have a wishlist but completely forgot it when I went in there. Typical! Read more of Lessons in Heartbreak into the early hours this morning. It's an ok enough read but it's one that has several storylines going on at once. I always find I'm more interested in one, more than the others, so I'm impatiently waiting most of the time.
  5. Yes. I don't think I've read anywhere strange, not that I can remember anyway. How boring!
  6. I went into Waterstones today and came out empty handed. I just couldn't find anything I fancied reading. To be fair, I do have 100+ books at home to read so I didn't need another one but I just love buying new books. I'm sure most of you know that feeling!
  7. I know! I read the first few pages of the book and it said she was 141 pounds or something. I thought, isn't that like 9 stone and actually very slim?! I'm not a huge fan of chick lit, but I have read a fair few and enjoy them thoroughly when I need something light, easy and relatively entertaining. I've read almost all of Adele Parks and some of Melissa Hill's, two chick lit authors. Adele Parks, I think, is the 'usual' chick lit author but Melissa Hill is different. She always has twists in her books and it gives them a slight edge. But when it comes down to it, I find all the characters are very similar, in almost every chick lit book.
  8. I did, too. I actually thought the movie had more depth than the book, which I think is so rare. It hardly ever happens where I prefer the movie but I did in this case. The book was a little forgetabble to be honest!
  9. Seems like you've just got half the forum to want that book!
  10. I'm like that too. I sometimes find though, even if I read the book first and then watch the film, when I read the book again I start imagining the actors and scenes. It's really annoying.
  11. Welcome to the forum, Katrina!
  12. I've not been able to watch the most recent Season 2 episodes but I must admit that the Marianne storyline was boring me a bit too. I wanted more Eric.
  13. Just over halfway through Lessons in Heartbreak. It's ok, nothing amazing.
  14. This sounds like something I'd enjoy. Thanks for the review, Kelly.
  15. I'm good thanks, how are you? To be honest with you, I wasn't impressed at all. The only good thing for me was that it was very easy to read. I don't think I'll read the rest. I hope you enjoy it though! :)

    Hi there

Hi Kimmy. Welcome to the forum! You'll fit right in, there's a few Sookie Stackhouse fans (myself included!).
  17. Hi Gyre :) Glad you liked the pictures, hehe. I thought you might ;)

  18. Hi Lexie. Saw you're reading the Vampire Diaries. How are you finding them? I've only read the first one. :)

  19. I wouldn't mind going to see Final Destination either. I did embarrass myself with the last one though. I can't help but scream when something makes me jump. I just got laughed at a lot!
  20. I think it just seemed really random and to the point. Hehe.
