  1. I think I'm in the minority. I've read the books and loved the film too. I've seen it twice already. I guess it helps a lot that I can't remember the book very well at all! Still, I thought the acting was overall much better in this one and I loved the balance between light humour and the darker sides. The actor who plays Draco was fantastic, it was great to see him in a larger role and I thought he played the part perfectly. Bellatrix & Snape were awesome as usual. I thought Harry, Ron & Hermione, well, the actors, were pretty good too. I definitely don't think the film was flawless by a long shot. Like everyone's said, it left a lot out and I think they could've focused more on certain aspects. But overall, I really liked it.
  2. Glad you enjoyed The Host. I thought it was pretty good too. There's apparently going to be two more in the series.
  3. It took me a while to like Kristen as Bella. But now, I think she's perfect for the part. Also, I agree that the Twilight movie isn't great. Don't get me wrong, I love it and I could watch it a thousand times over. But I dunno, there's a lot wrong with it too. I hope the New Moon movie is better, I have a feeling it will be, just from the pictures/footage. *Crosses fingers*
  4. Thanks for the heads up, Lexie! I don't think I'll watch it with my parents next time then. Far too awkward for my liking.
  5. I watched the first episode with my parents...you could have warned me guys! I hadn't read the first book at that point, so didn't know there would be quite that much nakedness in it! Or the C word. My Mum nearly fell off her chair. Still, I thought it was pretty good. Although, I'm not keen on Bill! He does look like a vampire, obviously. But I much prefer Sam!
  6. Yeah, I enjoy his perspective quite a lot. I love the fighting/teasing with Rosalie
  7. I really didn't like Jacob the first time I read the series. He irritated me no end! Then the second time, I was kind of indifferent. Both times though, I did find him quite funny in Breaking Dawn. The third time () I actually warmed to him! Yayy. I actually got a little annoyed with Edward this time!
  8. Two grilled chicken pieces and peas. It was lovely but I miss pizza so much. *Hates diets*
  9. 17. Twilight (16.06.09 - 19.06.09) 9/10 18. New Moon (22.06.09 - 27.06.09) 9/10 19. Eclipse (27.06.09 - 03.07.09) 9.5/10 20. Breaking Dawn (07.07.09 - 18.07.09) 7.5/10
  10. Ooooh, the advert just came on for this. I'm so excited, I've not even read the books yet but from the reviews I've heard, about the books and the TV series, I can't wait!
  11. I had a jacket potato with baked beans
  12. Oh, urgh. That is annoying too. I hate that on planes too, when people kick your chair. I know there's not much room, but it still bothers me
  13. And they freeze a lot too. 'Edward froze' 'The Cullens froze' JK Rowling always used 'and with their pockets feeling emptier'... or something similar.
  14. People talking during a movie at the cinema. I knew it was annoying, but didn't realise until today how irritating it really is. Although...I am guilty of that myself. I've had popcorn thrown at me before, oops.
  15. Probably the Flowers In The Attic series but I've not read many books that could be classed as disturbing.
  16. I'd had more than my fair share of near-death experiences; it wasn't something you ever really got used to. Breaking Dawn - Stephenie Meyer
  17. That put me off as well! I bought the first three books today though and the first episode is next Friday I think. So I'll let you all know what I think.
  18. Around 80 on last count. But that was months ago..
  19. I was out so had a cheese sandwich, a cereal bar and a banana.
  20. Eclipse is my favourite of the series. How are you finding Breaking Dawn?
  21. Oh I wish I could read them all again for the first time. I read them so quickly, I regret not taking my time more, hehe. It's just not the same after that!
