Steve Mosby The Third Person, it was an okay book but the ending was just too far fetched and strange

Have you ever tried rereading a book? For me the pleasures of rereading are greater than the surprises of a first read.
yes i have tried several times even with books i have loved
-
I'm not sure if this is a quirk or not but i just cannot ever read the same book twice even if i have really enjoyed it.

i finished reading a book at about 8 o'clock last night, normally i would wait until the next day to start another one but Mrs Baggiesfan was watching Dancing On Ice which bores me silly so i started another book straight away which is unusual for me i was just wondering if everyone else is the same?

i just think the Americans do TV much better than we do, all we seem to have are endless "reality" shows and soaps, they have things like
The West Wing
The Sopranos
Prison Break
Six Feet Under
24
Rescue Me
and so on
the only thing i think we have done that even comes close in the last few years was Life On Mars
-
the only station i really listen to is Five Live i used to love Talksport but it may as well be called white van man am now
-
i wouldnt say it was that, i just didnt like it it was all too far fetched for me, although i love 24 and most people would say the same about that lol
-
i watched about 12 episodes of the first series its just not for me, i love american tv and thought i would love lost but i just didnt.
-
i have read a few of his mainly the old ones he is very good but i found them all a bit "samey" as in you have read one and you have read them all.

Hi all, just recently i have gotten into crime fiction after years of being a horror fan, my mom is always recommending the Rebus series to me i was just wondering if they need to be read in order or not,
thanks in advance and if anyone can reccomend any more good authors like him that would be great

-

-
sole survivor by dean koontz totally beliveable and scary
-
i think he is a classic marmite, you either love him or hate him, i personally love his work although like a lot of writers his earlier work is a lot better than his recent stuff
-
i have read a lot of his books and think he will be remembered as a great great writer, he has had a lot of barren spells i think desperation, rose red, and insomnia were bad but then he came back with bag of bones which i loved, i recently read duma key which he bought out last year i thought it was his best for at least 15 years

Stephen King The Stand which i would say is one of if not the best book i have ever read, a lot of Dean Koontz ones, James Herbert, they are my favorite three authors, i have always been the same, i used to love The Famous Five as a kid and could only read those once.
