Well Janet i just thought i wasnt well written, it kept going backwards past times without the need to i think.
i have now started Perfect Night by Peter Grimsdale.
-
Well The Accidental American was a disapointment, only 216 pages and i struggled to finish it, only a 2 out of 10.
-
I said the same but i keep having to work in Hay-On-Wye and i just cant resist.
-
I dread to think how many weight watchers points that is lol.

Well after all that the drink they think defines Britain is a cup of tea,

I like the idea of Blade Runner 2 and the Spiderman and Batman follow ups.

So if the new Stephen King book is set at the time it was written does that mean it could be classed as comtemporaryfiction?

I am now reading An Accidental American by Alex Carr

I really cant choose in this one, OFAH is one of my all time favourite shows. they both had their funny ways and both suited the episodes they were in i dont think grandad would have suited the longer episodes of the later series. but i think he had the best one liners especially when talking about wether Rodney should be seeing a 40 year old woman
"well i'd have to think twice" just brilliant.

I did enjoy it i didnt guess anything at all but i never do,
i just thought the ending and explanation was just too far fetched for me, i will read more of his though, i give it 6.5 out of 10

I did enjoy No Time For Goodbye, i didnt guess anything early on like some have said they did on here then again i never do. the problem i had with the book was that the "revelation" was just too far fetched, i would read more of his though.
i give the book 6.5 out of ten.
not sure what i am going to read next, i have 11 in my TBR pile will let you know tomorrow whats next.

The Magic Cottage is his best book for me, although i liked Portent, 48, Nobody True and The Fog too. he is one of my favourite authors.
-
He has done a couple of books with the same character, a counter terrosrist agent called Sean Doyle but they dont have to be read in order, all of the rest are stand alone novels.
-
I just started reading this book last night i will report here what i think of it
-
I am now going to read No Time For Goodbye by Linwood Barclay
