  1. Not done as much reading as I would have hoped but hopefully I`ll be able to rectify that now. Thanks for pointing out my mistake, I`ve got no idea why I did that when I knew it was Alarm, I`ll put it down to my age (that`s my excuse for everything!) Take care

  2. Cause for Alarm ~ Erica Spindler Nineteen-year-old Julianna Starr has chosen Kate and Richard to be more than the parents of her child. Julianna knows that Richard is the man of her fantasies, the one she`s been waiting for. As tormented Julianna begins to mould herself in Kate`s image, she insinuates herself into Richard`s life, determined to tear their perfect marriage apart and have Richard for herself. But for Kate and Richard, the nightmare has only begun. Because Julianna is not alone. From her dark past comes a man of unspeakable evil....... My Thoughts Having read Copycat by this author I anticipated a good read - and I wasn`t to be disappointed! This book had everything you could want from a thriller. Erica certainly draws you in and keeps you there, with characters that are so well written you`re there with them every step of the way. She`s built an exciting plot with love, betrayal and a seriously cold-hearted killer. I found it impossible not to feel for the two central female characters, whose lives were so different, but become so entangled. A really good story. I look forward to reading more from this author. 9/10

    Hiya.

    Hello Michael.
  4. Yes I`m good, I`m on a 6 week break so how could I not be? ;)

I`d only read one other book by Erica Spindler and that was CopyCat another very good book (I recommend it)

Cold Granite sounds good (just read your review-very good by the way) I`ll have to look out for it, at least put it on my list!

I`ve got Dexter by Design and Roadside Crosses to pick up from the library, fingers crossed the mojo stays with me. :smile2: x

  5. Hello how are you, hope this finds you fit and well? Just wanted to say I`ve just finished, Cause for Alarm, and you was right what a good book! I`ll probably start her other one I bought, Last Known Victim tomorrow, she certainly helped restore my waning mojo! Take Care. x

  6. Hi, how are you and your mojo doing, still enjoying The Broken Window? I started an Erica Spindler book (have you read any of hers - She`s brilliant!) and it was just what I needed to get my appetite for reading back on track :D I`ve got another Erica Spindler ready for when this one`s finished and Dexter is waiting at the library for me, hope my mojo stays with me. :smile2:

    Take Care :)

  7. I`d agree with The Book Thief, it`s excellent. The Boy in the striped Pyjamas was good too. Suite Francaise looks good as well, haven`t read it yet but it`s waiting on my bookshelf.
  8. Hello Kelly, welcome to the forum. Congratulations on the pregnancy.
  9. At least you`re thinking positive thoughts!

I might check online to see what the library have to offer, good idea thanks. :) I`ve never tried audio books before so it would be worth trying.

  10. That answers my question - i was wondering whether an audio book would be a cure, obviously not then! :smile2:

To save myself from temptation I`ve reserved Dexter and Roadside Crosses, both the books I want, from the library. Hopefully Dexter will arrive soon and I`ll see if he`s the answer to my problem!

Broken Window was good, I hope you`re able to enjoy it without too much back tracking. :)

  11. Thank you for the friendship request. :friends0:

  12. I`m sorry about your mojo too, I hate it when it goes it`s so frustrating. :irked: I tend to read crime/thrillers most, Jeffery Deaver is my favourite author, he`s got another book out now that I want but shouldn`t buy, but that might help the mojo situation

Like you I`ve been trying to use the library more as I`ve no room on the bookshelves, it`s not easy resisting the urge to buy though. :)

  13. No I haven`t even bought it yet - I promised myself not to buy any more books until I`d read a few off the TBR pile! Problem is my mojo is still missing and I need someone like Dexter to bring it back I think, so maybe soon. :D I`m looking forward to finding out where things are going too. :)

  14. Hello how are you?

You`re very welcome I`m glad you enjoyed it, what did you think of the 3rd story - I enjoyed it but not as much as the other two. Take care :)

    Hello Carla to the forum.
  19. Dear Genevieve, :friends0: I`m so sorry to hear you`ve had a bad week, I hope it improves very soon. I`m glad my message helped a little, I wish I had your way with words but unfortunately I`m not so gifted, I do send you very best wishes though. Take care :)

  20. :sign0072: Hope it was a good one.
  21. My daughter was sorting through some of her old books and there were a few Goosebumps books amongst them. The curse of the Mummys Tomb is one of them, I seem to recall that particular story gave her nightmares!
  22. :sign0072: Hope you`ve had a good day.
  23. I`ve looked at and been undecided about The Diving-Bell and The Butterfly, but thanks to your review I`ll definately be getting it. Thanks Lexie.
