Y thank you! I like artwork .. not that I'm a professional! I just know wot i like and what i dont I'm very into red and warm colours at the min (which will be fun as we are redecorating soon!) my son said ' mum i'd like my room a red type colour' and i thought yipee! carte blance!

Oh believe me I bought my fair share of books as pressies this year .. I shall get everyone into reading if it kills me! You're right though not everyone appreciates them and yes you are running rather late!

Is your b/f into PS3 or Xbox? Perhaps the latest game/accessory would be good, or does he get glued to the pc like we do? then maybe a rollerball tripod thingy mouse? (not sure what u call them ). I got my OH the lastest PS3 game and a new super duper controller and a few other things my sons getting a new electric razor (his first one:mrgreen:) an ipod dock and a beautiful watch. Or maybe he would like some boy toys like a remote control helicopter as we described on Janet's thread? Check out Amazon for some great bargains to this year!

Have you got all your xmas shopping yet? I'm scaring myself how organised I am .. I'm nearly done! In fact I keep thinking I've forgotten something but it turns out I haven't. I've even got my grocery delivery, complete with turkey order, booked for 22nd! .. Phew!

My son had his ingrowing toenails cut out ... twice! You'd think he'd learn I have no idea what an arthroscopy is - sounds like some sort of exploratory sort of thing though. Hope they both go well. My op was more of a prevention thing. I have nerve damage down both legs from disc probs so had to have the discs decompressed to stop my central nerve getting damaged and a whole other prob developing! My back's really no better than before the op but then its no worse! I cant wait to get my wheels back again and tomorrow is the big day!

Oh no! I hope its nothing too serious? I've just had a spinal operation 6 weeks ago (well 6 weeks tomorrow, I'm counting cause thats when I'm allowed to drive again ) and I'm still feeling the effects of it. I guess that means you'll be doing everything over xmas then? Poor you You will definately need a holiday again in the new year!!

Oh that's good It's always nice when the holiday goes as planned. Now you've just got Christmas to handle ... if your anything like me you could probably do with another hol in the new year to recover! lol

Yip so far thanx, although I'm absolutely loaded with the cold and the tissues are slowly piling up around me We had friends for dinner as it's my daughters birthday this week, so we did the whole pressies, cake and candles thing. It was nice and quiet
