Hi. You must be new too.

I did William Blake's Song's of Innocence and Experience for A Level last year and really enjoyed analysing them. I don't know why but I liked trying to make sense out of the simpleness of the poems. For GCSE I looked at Carol Ann Duffy and Simon Armitage and can remember really enjoying them too.

I have just seen the film about frances the firefly who plays with fire and her wings catch fire. This scared me when I was younger (which I guess is the point) and I still get quite worried around fires and ovens. I can remember getting a matching booklet from my junior school.

Mine would have to be the Biff and Chip books from Infant school. The first one i can remember reading was about a secret room which had a dolls house. Others included the grandma coming to stay and an adventure with pirates. I recently went on work experience to a school and sat reading this books during my break.

I love the Shopaholice series and the Baby edition is the best yet. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie starring Isla Fisher (but the movies don't usually do the book justice. I hated the film of PS I Love You). I haven't read Remember Me yet but it is on my list.

I had chilli with rice and tacos last night, and beef stir fry with rice tonight.

I hate the subway adverts, particularly the one at the moment which goes "too hot, too spicy, HOT HOT". It makes me switch over because I cringe everytime. I like the andrex adverts, the puppy is so cute.

I usually read reviews of books online or in magazines. If it is an author I recognise, and I liked their previous book, I will buy the book just by the author. Otherwise I usually get recommendations and hand-me-downs of my mam who likes similar books to me.

I was looking for the title of a book and couldn't find it so decided to join a forum. Used a search engine and looked at a couple before deciding on this one.

I'm a big fan of Johnny Depp and I'm aiming to have the complete collection of his movies soon. (Although I won't have Nightmare on Elm Street - too scarey). I love Sweeney Todd and think that Johnny Depp sings quite well in it. His voice suits the film. I would really recommend watching it (if you can get through the gorey bits). Otherwise, DVDs are my passion as well as books. I have hundreds of films (because I pick them up when they're only a few pound) and a few TV series. My favourites are Buffy, Angel, Sex and the City, Will and Grace, Cold Feet and Commander in Chief.

Hi. I'm new on here and joined to see if anyone can help with the title of a book. I'm a member of quite a few forums, but have never thought to join a book forum. I'm starting to get addicted to books. I have always liked reading but recently I seem to have had a spurt. I like all kinds of books but mainly enjoy chicklit books.
