Hiya CW, how are you? Hope you've had a great time during the hols

Me, well me and BF have been sick throughout the hols. BF had already recovered once but he's having some kind of nasty relapse I have no fever anymore but I'm really lightheaded and weak still. I stay on here to read the posts but am usually too tired to write anything myself. Being sick is really getting on my nerves!!

Thanks Charm I'm so sorry about making fun of you for not getting the right date, I really did put my foot where my mouth was, didn't I?? I'm sure you won't hate me though cause I had no idea. It's a good thing though that precautions will be made and I definitely will support your choice of the kinda life you want to live after 65 I'll come and see you and we'll have a blast!!

I had a lovely birtday, thanks for asking! Coffee and cake with a friend, shopping in some secondhand bookshops and later in the evening drinks with a friend and a little bar tour. All in all great fun! I even made a snow angle when I came home, it's still visible from my balcony A little Xmas spirit for the neighbors!

Thanks Stephanie, I had an awesome day, but it's taken me a while to recover from all the festivities I had a nice little gettogether with a friend, we had coffee and nice cake, yummy! Then I went to a couple of secondhand bookshops and did a little shopping Then drinks with a friend and out to a bar! All in all a great day

Oh and it's been so nice having Phyllis do the parties, hers are so much better than Angela's! Toby's going away party was absolutely brilliant! But I felt for Jim, he'd planned the fireworks and was just about to pop the question when idiot Andy happened

Actually I've got some further developments about that language exchange, it seems like another friend of mine would be interested in going with me, she was planning on going to UK/Ireland anyway so we can now do it together We are now trying to decide where we'd like to go. I told her Newcastle was an option, she sounded interested when I mentioned the pubs and that beautiful place in the town's center, you know the magical nature place. I've totally forgotten the name though, I must look it up so I can show pics for my friend!

Are you sure you meant Andy, the annoying passive aggressive guy when you said he really grows on you?? I can't imagine that, I've never liked him. Well I never liked Dwight or Michael either but now I've become to understand them a bit better and empathise with them so I guess all's possible... Yep I saw the ep where he punched the wall It was so funny when he came back and Dwight pepper sprayed him (he'd sprayed Roy too, for trying to attack Jim. Another epic episode!) Oh one of my fave episodes was when Holly came to work there and Dwight was doing a little hazing and told Holly that Kevin's mentally challenged. Poor Kevin thought she was totally into him and he was like I'm totally gonna bang her I love Kevin, he's one of my fave characters <3

I'm now up to s5, episode 10, episode 11 is not working on my computer for some reason but I'm not going to skip that one just to get further! Last episode I watch was the Moroccon party and Phyllis blurted out that Angela's been doing Dwight So next ep must be about Andy & Dwight and there's no way I'm skipping that!! And oooh I've now seen the part where Jim giftwrapped Dwight's "desk" and other "stuff" but boy was Dwight surprised Epic scene!!

I agree, I always think that the makers should be out of ideas by now because they've done so much but they keep surprising us! I loved Holly, she was perfect for Michael! I hope she comes back to Scranton. Michael was no happy to see Toby back

Yep, it's because of my plans for Swaziland falling through. And because of some other stuff involving that same friend. My "womanly" cycle is also at that point that I'm my most vulnerable self so it just makes it all worse

But don't worry, I'm always exceedingly cheerful on my birthday, it's like I'm high on life all day I expect to see a lot of lovely books on the Book Activity thread too Since you've conviniently made more room for books on your shelves. Heck we deserve it don't we!! Happy book browsing, I'll be eager to see your report! And now I'm seriously off to bed. Well pretty soon anyway

Anyways, I haven't got any real particular plans. Well one of my friends is going to treat me to a cuppa coffee and a piece of cake in this lovely coffee shop, and I'm meeting a friend in the evening for drinks and a little outing at the bars but nothing more than that. I was kinda thinking I'd like to go ice-skating for the first time this winter but I'll have to see what the weather's like tomorrow Oh and I promised myself that I'd take me out to my favorite charityshops and secondhand bookstores to buy books... So all in all I guess there's lots to do.

I think I'm off to bed soonish, it's almost 1 AM here, you must be just starting your last day at work right about now? Happy last day, I hope it goes fast

It was so hilarious when Andy was talking to reluctant Dwight about wanting to other stuff than just necking with Angela. And when he finally announced he'd made some headway, it was soo funny! Him saying that now they were actually kissing, well, he was doing the kissing and Angela was just staying still, going Oh D, Oh D! It was soo funny! Andy is such an idiot for thinking D's short for Andy and Dwight was so funny for starting to laugh with Andy, egging him on

BF's definitely a keeper! It wasn't even his real bday pressie for me, it was just something extra he realised he could do, I have an idea of what I'm actually getting. Well I'm okay I guess, although I've suffered from a massive setback, you know I was supposed to go to Swaziland with a friend to do my language exchange? (I've talked about it in my members' thread?) Well friend cancelled on me and I've been sad, upset etc. I gotta get my act together and start finding me a new place!

Otherwise I'm good, I'm really enjoying my Office Marathon! There have been so many great episodes!! The episode when Michael and Jan invited Jim&Pam etc to dinner was hilarious And so awkward! I think Michael is becoming more and more humane, I begin to feel for him at times. Even Dwight! I hope he gets back together with Angela.

BTW, I've been watching Office, I'm already through season 3 (best season ever, I've never laughed so hard. I hate Andy, how creepy is he???) and I'm on s4 now, episode 11 was the last that I watched. I was suppposed to uhm... get the rest of the episodes from BF online, but his machine broke so didn't. Well you never guess what! It's my birthday tomorrow and BF's just sent me a little packet with a memory stick which includes the next 16 episodes or so. Just so I could watch the show!! And he printed a pic of Dwight's head, that's made of little letters arranged so that they together form an image of his head. Isn't that the sweetist thing

My friend canceled the Swaziland trip we were going to make and it's pretty much effed up my plans for next spring, I've gotta get me a new language practice place and that's not going to be easy.
