  1. #32: Its surprisingly easy, all you need is something to put the book on. I do my ironing next to a shelf of just the right height. One glance on the shirt, one in the book, one on the shirt etc. I hate ironing, so the alternatinve to reading and ironing is just not ironing at all.. I don't hate other household work, but I hate ironing passionately.
  2. Before I go to sleep, 1-2 hours, and when I wake up, get dressed and eat breakfast. And whenever I have some time when I would just be standing around otherwise. Like when I'm making dinner. Or ironing. Vacuum cleaners can be operated with one hand too. The time "before I go to sleep" is also relative, it could mean all night if the book is good. I have gotten older and wiser though, nowadays I rarely read all night when I have to go to work the next day. There are books that are worth it though.
  3. I re-read most of my books. When I had to be really careful about how much money I spent on books, I only bought those books that I knew I would re-read, and the rest of my reading I borrowed from the library. Now that I'm neither studying nor staying at home with children, I sometimes buy books that I actually haven't read. But I still tend to be picky as to which books I buy, from habit I guess. A book that you have read is like an old friend.
  4. What a warm welcome! Kylie: historical fiction is close to my heart, but I read everything. Favourite author: right now it would be Selma Lagerl
  5. I'm new here. I read a lot. I guess you all do, too. I live in Finland. I never know what to say when I introduce myself, so - this is it..
