  1. It makes sense Michelle, basically I can read them in whatever order seems best!
  2. One of my favourites Lucy! That sounds absolutely delicious! I'm almost ashamed to post what I've had for lunch. Oven fries, sausages, beans and served with bread. Un-healthy but rather nice.
  3. Ah, I seem to be a bit confused then. What is cross-stitching? I was under the impression it was just like sewing, not that I've looked it up or anything.
  4. You wont be disappointed!
  5. Thanks for that Kell, it sounds good. I'm looking forward to going to see it.. at some point.
  6. Of course that makes sense. I'm lucky enough to have not lost anyone close to me so far in my life.. Your right about that though, I imagine that loosing someone and then reading about something that ties in with death, would be enough to set anyone off.

Maybe you should try it again now your older? I imagine it would've been tricky for a 9 year old.
  8. Well in school in year 7-9, when we had to textiles, I was always really bad at sewing at everything like that. Was one of my worst subjects, was incredibly please when we got to choose our options for year 10 and 11.
  9. Only ever read Kensuke's Kingdom. I don't remember it that much If I'm being honest. Might re-read it at some point.
  10. I've never been good at anything like this.
  11. I loved Hotel Rwanda. Sad but good film.
  12. Nothing, nothing at all. Anyway, back on topics for bookmarks, my situation's getting a bit desperate now. I MUST pop into Borders or something at the week-end.

You gave up on treasure island!? That's disappointing, what was it you didn't like? For most people it's the writing style.. I wrote a little review for it.. You'll find it in my thread 'Ben's Books', which is about somewhere.
  14. Just had a lovely galaxy hot chocolate.
  15. That's the thing about disturbing reads, they're the ones that always make you interested despite not necessarily wanting to be.
  16. That sounds delicious! Not sure what we're having yet. Not really speaking to my mum at the moment..

I never bothered to read classics.. well it wasn't that I didn't bother, it was the fact that I'd never really thought about it. My grandma bought me Catcher In the Rye, and I was very impressed. Since then I've read Treasure Island as well, but other than them, I haven't read any more classics. I would like to though.
  18. Good review!
  19. Ohh, Paula they're lovely! *cough* Twilight addicts/Edward addicts. *cough*
  20. Michelle, do the books have to be read in a certain order then? Like as you say The Immortals books are more suited to an older age, so would it be possible just to read them?

Well let us know what you think when you get further in.
  22. Has anyone ever met him?
  23. I've got a bad feeling about them making The Book Thief into a film. They could absolutely destroy it.
  24. I want to see The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. - It's out tomorrow.
