  2. thank you for the kind invitation of friendship. I did read "Marley & Me" after my dog Rufus failed his obedience test for a second time, and I found it do be quite reassuring.

  4. thank you for your kind invitation of friendship. Yes I do love labradors, my dogs name is Rufus and he is 18 months old. We orginally purchased him as a pet for the kids, but he seeems to have taken over the household, and is the centre of everyone's attention. Would love to hear about your labrador, he/she looks gorgeous in photo.

  5. I do remember this lovely film, although it has been a long time since I watched it. It was the last movie Henry Fonda appeared in. I think it may have won an Academy Award.

  7. I have been wanting to read Vladimir Nabokov for quite some time, he has been such an influence on so many of our contemporary writer's. Which of his works would you recommend as an introduction to Nabokov?
  8. Hi Happyandddandy, I have very eclectic tastes in literature. I don't have any particular genre that I read, I tend to gavitate to Author's that I'm interested in exploring. At the moment I am reading Atonement by Ian McEwan. Shelley.
