  1. It says on the Sky website that Lost is returning on 5th Feb at 9pm - which is a Friday?? Strange!

It also says that we will be seeing Claire, Charlie and Boone again in the final series.....

Can't wait, they've been showing little teaser trailers for ages now :)

  2. March!!?? I thought when the last one was on before xmas they said it would be back in January - but maybe i'm thinking of a different show?

I'll have forgotten what has happened so far by the time March comes around :friends0:

  3. I read Things I Want..... last year and I really loved it, even though it was a sad story and I cried loads there were some lovely parts in it and I felt like I knew all the characters so well! I'm glad you enjoyed it too Steph, I think she had written a couple of other books but I haven't got around to reading them yet

Charm - you should deffo bump this up a few more places on your list!

  4. I have now finished both Bloodlust and Initiation by Alex Duval, the first two vampire beach novels rolled into one double edition. These books were so easy to read, probably as they are intended for teenagers, but they just flowed so easily that before I knew it I was at the end of Bloodlust and beginning Initiation. I ordered these books from the library as I have been drawn in to the recent spate of vampire books and although they weren't as good as Twilight or Sookie Stackhouse I did enjoy them and will be on the lookout for the other vampire beach books in the series.

  5. The first book I started this year was The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stiegg Larsson but after the first few chapters I found I was really struggling with it. I put it aside when Bloodlust and Initiation by Alex Duval arrived into the library for me but I do intend to go back to it at some point....

  9. I've just added this to the planner to be recorded - if i didn't have this i would miss everything! So i'll give it a go, not really sure about celebs reviewing books though because most of the time i think they only like to speak about themselves so i can't imagine them seriously discussing books :D

  10. I'm going to see it on Saturday afternoon with my sister! Can't wait! I haven't got around to booking my tickets yet - I must do it tonight

I read somewhere that this film has a different feel to it and is apparently more "arty" as it was directed by a different person than the first one.

Although I thought this book was the worst of the four (although I still enjoyed it!) they have managed to make the movie look very good from the trailers I have seen so I'm really looking forward to it :smile2:

  11. I watched it with my boyfriend and we were both very open and did everything he said but neither of us were stuck to our seats or felt anything at all. I was quite dissapointed. A couple of people at work said they tried it too and nothing happened to them either.

I spotted the subliminal images too but BF didn't notice anything.

Also I thought the homeless man act was a bit strange, is it really possible to collect

  12. I missed it too but he did one programme about being able to predict horseracing results but then when he told you how he had done that it was all fake! For the horseracing one he had like a triangle-type system with lots of people involved but the people didn't know about each other, so every horse in each race had somebody's money on it and then it went on and on down the triangle until the last race where there were five horses but also five people - one on each horse - so obviously somebody had to win!

But i might have to look at the lottery one on the internet too tonight - i'm sure there must be some trick to it like there was with the horseracing predictions - if he could predict the lottery numbers every week he wouldn't bother going on tour and making tv shows etc etc he could just win the lottery when he felt like it!

  13. Ooooo thanks everyone for the tips and info! I went for a browse around my local car boot this morning and picked up a whole wallet of different cards/papers that someone didn't want so figured I would give it a go with these first and see how I get on - they are all so pretty!

Am off to browse around the sites lexie told me about now, thanks hun

  14. Hey, i was wondering if anybody does any scrapbooking projects?

I've recently seen some scrapbooking work and had never really been aware of it before but I think it seems like a nice way to display special photos.

So does anybody do it on here? And does anyone have any good tips/ideas/what to buy and where to get started?
