My list would be almost identical to yours.Haven't read We Need to Talk About Kevin so will probably avoid that one,as we seem to have similar tastes in books.I was recently persuaded to read Born Bad by Josephine Cox that was a big mistake for me I hated it.So that would be my number 4 on the list.
Had Eddie Wesley been a less reliable man,he would never have stumbled over the body, chased Junie to Tennessee, battled the devils to a draw, and helped to topple a President.
Palace Council by Stephen Carter
I have read The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo and have just finished The Girl Who Played with Fire. The first book was excellent, but the second one was so good I almost forgot to breath some times it was so tense. If you fancy reading this author(Stieg Larsson)you need to read the books in order.
I have read all the Tudor period books by P.Gregory, and they are really so well written you don't realise that you are actually reading history which I found dry and boring at school.I would recommend all of them.
Am reading The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson. It is the second book he has written, the first one being The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo(which was very good). This new one is even better!
I have an interesting pile of assorted bookmarks, some were gifts some holiday souvenirs and some that just caught my eye.Am using a magnetic Classic Pooh at the moment (cute)
I've just been given a copy of a Josephine Cox book and am struggling to get to grips with it.I have never read any of her books before so feel that I must give it a fair crack of the whip.It is not a genre that I would normally read,ah well you never know
BBC2 Newsnight Review were discussing Ashes to Ashes last night and seemed to think that Life on Mars was better. However I will certainly be watching it and make up my own mind about it.I know that I will also miss the lovely John Simm
I love to browse the shelves and table stacks of books and am often drawn to a cover, read the blurb and find that I don't really want it! What a let down
