  1. ahhh. i get it now! lol I remember when i was like 6 or something mum let me watch Rose Red............ Even though i was eager to watch the whole thing, I was angry at mum for letting me watch it... I could NOT get to sleep that night!!!! *shudder* it STILL freaks me out... but i enjoy the plot at least
  2. I searched on imdb.com and it said that Rose Red was a mini tv-series (4 parts). The version i watched was seperated into 2 disks though, so i thought it was just a really long movie. It goes for 4 hours and it did say that it was written by Stephen King. It's also been called 'Stephen King's Rose Red'. *shrugs* Maybe he only wrote the tv-series. thanks for your suggestions everyone! i think i'll start with Different Seasons and Four Past Midnight. oh... i just had a look on my local library's website and it doesn't have Four Past Midnight. :motz:Different Seasons it is, then!
  3. haha thanks everyone! oh dear. 4 year olds? i think i've found the wrong forum naa this place is great already!
  4. I've watched about 9 episodes of the tv show, and i loved it. But as i could only watch it by downloading on the internet (in australia we only have like 10 channels, unless we get Foxtel for a price) i forgot. anywhoo, can someone list all the books in order?? I don't even know how many there are i would really like to read them
  5. Ok I haven't read any (thats right ANY - please don't kill me ) of Stephen King's books, so can you tell me a few of them that would be good to start with?? I don't care what genre. Thanks in advance OH and, has anyone seen Rose Red?? One of King's movies. I'm not sure but is it a novell aswell? If not, are there any of his books similar to that movie? I loved the plot!!
  6. hmmm most of them are chick flicks In no particular order:] Mean Girls - i love high school/college based movies, and Lindsay Lohan + Rachel McAdams are great actresses. Hot Chick - it stars both of my fav actors!!! Rachel McAdams and ROB SCHNEIDER!! WOO!! John Tucker Must Die - another high school comedy. The actor who played John Tucker IS SOOOOO CUTE!!! Scary Movie series - I love parodies, these movies are hilarious! And i love the actress who plays Cindy (forgot her name, how embarassing) American Pie 1-3 - Hilarious. I thought the extra American Pies (Band Camp, Beta House, etc) were pretty bad though. I love Stiffler !! haha he's a classic!
  7. I do agree that the BACKGROUND music is very catchy. but. other than that. that song is absolutely ... *lost for words* :censored:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the lyrics!??! seriously: "yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" HA!! and: "superman that H O E" LITTLE KIDS are singing along with those lyrics..........
  8. Hello fellow book worms! I'm another newbie and thought i should introduce myself ok, well... actually i'm not that much of a bookworm. I haven't read that many books in my life time so far so thats why i thought i'd find a book forum that can turn me into a bookworm! smart, i know i'm 14 (quite a youngling compared to most ppl here *eek!*), and i absolutely love animals (dogs especially), art, music, dancing, reading, the computer - my (nearly) absolute best friend, and watching movies/tv seasons. My favourite genre of books would have to be romance & drama. Although like i said, I haven't read much at all, would like to get out there and read a bit of everything! Well that is all! I better start looking around for great books to start on! Cya! Carly << soon to be
  9. For me it depends. I'm usually reading 2 at a time, but sometimes while i'm deciding what book to borrow next, i'm only reading one. There was a stage where i was reading 3, but it was all too much.
