  1. Just posted my review on my blog. In short- Great book! Also just finished A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian - and here is the review.
  2. I have just seen on Amazon that there is a new Stephen King out later this month! What books are you excited about this year?
  3. I do yes! Many authors in the past I have had to focus on books by them, particularly when I was younger so you are not alone:)
  4. I have been trying to think about which version to read. I remember at school we had versions that had the original on one page and then the opposite page was a 'translation' but I can't remember what they were. I can remember the cover to Measure for Measure though, I really enjoyed that!

  6. I have just finished this book and loved it. I was worried because it took me ages to get into it but by the end I have to admit I was having a bit of a blub.

  8. Oh that's a shame Janet, it would have been fun to have you involved! I have just finished The Book Thief and I just don't know what to say. What a wonderful but heart wrenching book.

When I look on my shelves of what to read next I usually think about the following- -Do I need something fresh and new from an author I have never tried? or - Do I want something from an author I know and like? I then make my decisions from that. Sometimes I do just automatically reach for a book on my shelf as if my subconcious has already made the decision for me. I had never really thought about it actually so thanks for the question:)

  14. Me and OH have ordered each other MP3 Players for each other as our christmas present (waited for the Jan sales lol) so we can listen to music when we go running and to the gym. However I want to use mine for listening to audiobooks as well and was wondering whether anyone has any recommendations of the best sites and places to get them? Thanks for reading!

  17. Its run through this blog at BiblioShakespeare I have wanted to read more Shakespeare for ages and this seemed the perfect way to actually do it!

Although I have my blog I think a page here would be good for keeping a concise list of books read, books purchased and other bookish things:) I am also taking part in some challenges so this will be a way of keeping track of them easily. One day I would love to set up my own webiste for keeping track of things like this!
  22. I will be really interested in hearing people's thoughts on this, I read it a while ok and didn't enjoy it but I know so many people loved it!
