  1. I am really stuck for what to read at the moment. I just CAN NOT get into Jodi Picoult, I read her 1st one ok but have read 200 pages of this one and just cant gel so have reluctantly given it up (not like me at all!) I read so fast too and can read a book very quickly and take it all in. I dont do girlie books or mills and boon type...more into mystery, crime, surreal, I just need a couple of good authors to get me going again, dont like feeling like this. The only time I have not read in the past is when I have had distractions and stress, cant concentrate. But now I am content in life, no stress, work is fab...whats wrong with me! Need an author that I can get into a relationship with (reading wise lol) any advice would be fab...thank you...bagel....xxxxx
  2. I dont think I have tried Karin Slaughter....I will look her up...thanks
  3. I do! When I read Peter Robinsons first book I went out and got all of his books! The same with Ruth Rendell Martina Cole Lesely Pearce, then I went to the other extreme and read all (up to now) of John Grisham and Jeffrey Archer!Ooh and lots more Authors! jodie Picoult is my mission at present! I have found that as I have got older my tastes have changed: For instance, as a young girl I loved Enid Blytons Famous five then the Narnia collection. In my twenties I loved Danielle Steele and Catherine Cookson. In my thirties it was Jackie Collins and now in my forties I am continually searching for something to read that will have me yearning for more! I seem to go back to my old Authors when they bring a new book out and once I have finished reading it feel deflated and it is like coming to the end of a love affair lol! I also read non fiction..but thats another story! Thank you for reading me...Bagel
