  1. Some chicken kebab things in pitta bread, OH supposed to be cooking and I am getting very hungry lol!
  2. This always happens when I read a non-fiction book- I don't read! Even though it is something I really want to read I get a kind of brain block. However to be fair I have done loads of work today instead so thats a positive I guess:)

  5. I have been trying to get onto bookmooch but the site looks down, it won't work. GM looks good though so thanks for that!
  6. So it works out a good deal in the end? Thats what I like about RISI, I know that when I post a book out I will be getting a book in return!

  8. I try and stick to one but sometimes I get in one of my reading funks and can't get into anything and end up with three or four books on the go, none of which end up getting completed for ages!
  9. I get my books from a wide variety of places. Charity Shops Read It Swap It (I haven't tried Green Metropolis or Bookmooch yet, are they good?) 'Proper' shops although in my town all we have is a small WHSmiths so I have to wait until we go shopping elsewhere before being able to buy Amazon Library I try not to buy many new books because it all adds up so much!

  12. In an effort to distract myself from working I have been looking at old issues of newbooksmag that I got from the library and found an interview with the author of this book. Has anyone read it? Is it good? I might try and search it out!

The trouble I have is that I can never remember quotes unless I have it written down on a piece of paper to read so I couldn't be as good as you and drop them into conversation. I will go find a good quote and come back and edit this post:) Later... OK I did cheat slightly it is not from a book I have read but I think it sums up the never ending problem we have- but without the beards for us girls! Books to the ceiling, Books to the sky, My pile of books is a mile high. How I love them! How I need them! I'll have a long beard by the time I read them. Arnold Lobel
