  1. As much as spoiler tags help I'm just too nosy for my own good. It's all too easy to highlight the spoilers! *Must resist* *Must resist*!
  2. I want to post in this thread but I have to be very very careful. I've only just started to get into Supernatural (only on episode 2 of the second season) and I don't want to know any spoilers! But I love love love this show!
  3. Yeah, the flake advert doesn't look all that appealing I have to admit. I heard someone say it reminded them of tripe! It's music I love.
  4. I was so obsessed with this show that I couldn't wait for the English versions of the dvd to come out. I've got Seasons 1 to 3 in English but the rest are Dutch or German, I can't remember. Luckily it's just the packaging that's in the foreign language and not the actual programmes!
  5. I've had to stop reading Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. I just couldn't get into it. I'm maybe not in the right frame of mind so I might pick it up again at some point. Now I'm reading Sign of the Cross by Chris Kuzneski. And it's really really good!
  6. At the moment, I'm loving the new Cadbury's Flake advert. Not so much the advert but the music is so beautiful.
  7. Don't take this the wrong way but that makes me feel a bit better. I seem to be surrounded by happy couples at the moment and it really doesn't help. I'm struggling.

  8. I just want to add my say! I love Gilmore Girls too! I only got into it thanks to the reruns on E4 - think it was mid season 2. I was hooked straight away and bought the boxsets cos I couldn't wait to see them as E4 showed them! Brilliant feel good show. I'm going to have to have a rewatch soon!
  9. I finished The Timer Game by Susan Arnout Smith, which I really enjoyed and later today I plan to start reading Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire.
  10. More book buying for me today. 5 in total. Confessions of an ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire I Remember You by Harriet Evans I, Alex Cross by James Patterson The Chosen One by Sam Bourne Sign of the Cross by Chris Kuzneski. I love having book vouchers!

    I'm back

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into that! I love that first sentence!
  12. It is, isn't it? I love animals. I'd do anything to help them. I'm glad it's not all sad - there is hope there. I just hope they get a lot of money.
  13. I'm watching BBC2's Wild Night In. Raising money for endangered animals all around the world. I've donated. I wish I could give more because seeing the animals they are featuring is breaking my heart.
  14. My mum and my gran always read to me when I was little. I had loads of ladybird books that I would want them to read to me again and again. I think that got me into books. When I was a teenager I always had a book in my hand - sometimes starting another before I'd finished the first! I could never read enough! It's continued into my adulthood.
  15. Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great day!

  16. I'm about to start watching the first episode of Supernatural. I have to get into a new show since Lost and Flashforward are finished so hopefully Supernatural will be my next favourite show!
  17. I went book shopping today. I didn't intend on buying any books - only went into Waterstones for a book voucher for my dad for Father's Day - but I did buy two. Scandalous by Martel Maxwell (I bought it purely because of where the author is from) and Things I wish I'd known by Linda Green (because I loved her previous books)
  18. I've got two. Frisky Baxter or Puss Baxter. Frisky was a hamster and my first pet, and Puss was my first family pet.
  19. I use Paige because it was my pen name for a blog I had a couple of years ago. Don't have the blog anymore but the name stuck. It was a writing blog and my name was Paige Writer.
  20. I think I got comfort from it because I was so upset about the loss of my cat to think she somehow came back to me helped. It wasn't in any way sinister and I felt happy that she came back one last time to sleep on my bed. Of course it could have easily been a dream or a figment of my imagination but to me it was real and it helped me. I can understand how some experiences can be quite scary. I do have another story that freaked me out and to this day still freaks me out. I don't know if I was awake or if it was dream but either way it was scary. I was about 19/20 and I was lying in my bed (incidently the same bed as the cat story!) in the middle of the night - it was really dark and I woke up suddenly and sat up. I saw a hooded figure floating through the door on my left and pass the bottom of my bed and stand at the window on my right. Another two hooded figures floated in and they headed to the right of my bed. Another two hooded figures floated in and they headed to the left of my bed. The hooded figure at the window then moved to the bottom of my bed. I couldn't see their faces and they looked at bit like monks. I was ridged with fear - I couldn't scream or move. The next thing I knew it was morning. Like I said, i don't know if I was actually awake or if it was a dream but it scared me completely. I hate anyone wearing hoods and I can't stand monks. I don't know why they surrounded my bed but it was definitely for no good reason. I felt anxious and unhappy.
