Sorry only just seen these posts. Yeah I know that technically torrents are safe, but I'm paranoid about dowloading things from unknown sources, and I think my firewall and security settings wouldn't allow me to do so without either changing them or temporarily disabling them which I don't want to have to do. Oh and plus there's the fact that I have no idea how to use torrents in the first place. Nope sorry Michelle no Tardis. But I have a friend in the US and he uploads the episodes on to either a file host or usually on to a personal server and I just download from there (and yes I know it's still illegal but needs must). I find that a lot quicker too (I got this weeks episode of Lost in about 10 minutes) and it's the same way that I've gotten Season 2 of Heroes.

I actually found the ending of My Sister's Keeper a little bit...well, a bit of a cop out. It seemed to me like the author took the easy way out in a way.

I've read a few of his books and have a couple more on my to read pile. Out of the ones I have read I think my favourite has to be The Guardian...so sad at the end.

I have to admit I like a fairly decent blurb (length wise) as I like to get a general feeling as to what the book is about and if I'm going to like it. One thing that really annoys me is a misleading blurb. I can't think of any off the top of my head just but I've read books in the past to find that the blurb on the back was very misleading.

I don't think I've ever been scared by a book or at least I can't remember ever having been scared by something that I've read. I would love to read a book that had the power to scare me though.

Hello and welcome to the board. I'm in the process of doing a complete reread. Just finished book 5.

Seeing as the producers and writers have planned the show out for 3 more seasons of 16 episodes, I can't see how they can just miss out 8 episodes so I think those episodes will be made it's just a matter of when. I don't think there has been any official announcement yet so I guess there is still hope at the moment, but from what I've heard the strike may go on for a while yet.

Yep it is a new series - Season 4 - although because of the writers strike over there just now there's only 8 episodes instead of 16.

I tend to stick to the same kind of genres and authors too, so I'm going to try and widen my reading habits this year. I've had a fair few suggestions and recommendations over on my reading blog so I'm going to try and use them as a basis to start with.
