I agree Karen. I always thought they should have been together!
I'm onto Season 11 in my rewatch and some my favourite moments are in the run up to Carter and Abby getting together and the initial episodes after they did. If it wasn't for Abby's crazy family they'd still be together.
I'm a bit disappointed it didn't go out on a bang but at the same time, happy it ended in a 'life carries on' kinda way. (If you get what I mean...?)I know what you mean and I agree.
It did seem they were leaving it open for a spin off.I'm not keen on a spin off. I think they should leave well alone!

Really sad to see this show end after 15 years but a good finish all the same, at least we know that life at County lives on. Bit bummed that Carter didn't really get his happy ending though ... and I still think him and Abby belong together!

Yes that's right. We have seen Mark and as far as I'm aware we wont be seeing him again.
No I don't either, maybe they'll show it from the beginning again though then I'll be able to see the ones I was too young for first timeI don't know if they still show them but More4 was showing the earlier episodes at one point.

the return of Carter
last night?
Even though I knew it was going to happen, I still found myself squeeing! It was so good seeing him again, just a pity about the circumstances!
I'm starting to get a bit worried because I know there's not long left now. I think I may get withdrawal symptoms or need some therapy.I'm up to Season 5 Episode 1 in my rewatch. It's fab. Lucy Knight has just made her first appearance. I definitely recommend shelling out for the boxsets, especially as they're all so cheap at the moment!

I bought this book a while ago Beth and had to give up on it - the first time I've ever had to give up on a Carol Matthews book. I struggled through the first one hundred pages and tried to perservere with it, but just couldn't. I found the whole thing a bit weird to be honest. It's not her usual type of book.
