    Hi ya!

It's our last home game of the season tomorrow, so a win would be nice. Our two main rivals are both up against teams in the bottom three, so we really can't afford to slip up. The tension is killing me!
  3. Can I risk a real slating and suggest that Matt Smith is the best Doctor since the series returned? He seems to have exactly the right character - a mix between Patrick Troughton and Tom Baker.

Hope is a great motivator Inver! St Austell beat Callington Town 2-1 tonight. We were terrible in the second half, so we really got away with it! If we can play that badly and get 3 points, maybe we're fated to go up!

Hopefully Inver. Some of our opponents at the moment can average crowds of about 20 per game (we average 90), whereas in the Premier Division it's more like 150. Aside from this, our local rivals are in the Premier Division. Over the years St Austell v St Blazey has been the biggest derby in Cornwall and we've really suffered from being in a lower division. I think we could be looking at crowds of 300 for those matches! I'm usually not keen on glory hunters, but they (and their money) are welcome at Poltair Park to see our success!

Good result for Glendale Inver - well done Andy! We conceded a penalty on Saturday which the opposition scored. Fortunately the 5 goals we already had cushioned the impact! What was a 5-horse race for the title at the beginning of the day is now down to the top 2, with us at the top! Perranporth are 2 points behind with 2 games in hand, so they're still the favourites. The latest rumour is that their ground has failed the league's promotion inspection, so Premier Division football for us next season is edging ever nearer!

St Austell have beaten Perranwell 1-0 to reach the Cornwall Charity Cup Final - who needs the Premier League?

It's all smiles today then Inver! With St Austell inactive today, both our main rivals suffered shock defeats, so we stay top - there's still hope!

Hope Andy's team can make it 6 this time Inver! We've just heard that Perranporth, who are almost certain to win the division, may not meet the ground criteria for promotion. In that case the runners-up will be promoted! I'd rather we went up as champions, but this is good news!

We have a glut of Manchester United fans down here, so I've enjoyed the rare treat of gloating! Inver - well done to Andy as well as Raith. We're entering a nervous period now - no league game until the 17th, so we just have to watch our rivals closing the gap. Perranporth (the title favourites) won last night and are now just 2 points behind with 3 games in hand!

It's a shame we won't get the final the world wants to see - Barcelona v St Austell! (We've just had a 3-0 win over table-topping Newquay to take over their position as leaders!)

The day started well for St Austell. Every year, the Easter matches are staggered to allow fans to see all of the games. We were last up at 6:00, by which time two of our rivals had drawn and the otther had lost. We were all set to capitalise on this as we were playing a team 3rd from bottom. You can probably guess that we lost (2-1), so the title contenders couldn't manage a win between them! At the moment we're 2nd, but due to games in hand, the team in 4th are odds on to win. On Tuesday we play Newquay, the leaders. If we lose again, that may well be it for our title hopes this season.
